Background: Vaal was raised by her mother and two fathers. She does not know which one of her two fathers is her biological father and does not care to her as it doesn’t matter. She is the third born of seven children.
There were no unusual happenings during her upbringing by Bolian standards. She was a clever, industrious student. She enrolled in Starfleet when she came of age and her years as a student were not so much uneventful as not unusual. Shortly after the beginning of her first assignment on a starship Vaal forgot about the striking differences between Bolian and other humanoid physiologies. Although she quickly corrected her mistake the patient suffered from severe nausea and body aches for several days. She was soon reassigned to the Anubis. |
