Hey there, ladies. This will be a text only post and I hope you don't mind. I'm asking for your help in something that is incredibly important to me.
I am currently a part of the Walk for Choice 2011, which was started in Chicago in response to the events in Congress surrounding The No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act (H.R. 3) and other anti-choice legislation. Right now I'm in charge of coordinating the San Antonio, TX event and there are walks happening all over the country and in the UK and Pakistan! I urge you to check out the official site and to join us! Each participating city has a facebook event page with all the information you'll need. Even if you're not able to make it out to your city's event, please spread the word!

Well, I almost have some paintings done. I'll have a grand total of six done tomorrow. And I'll post some images. Cause I'm awesome that way.
I did for the first time actually sit down and finish a painting that I started in class. I'm quite excited about that.

Its been a while since I've drawn some fanart. I've got a nice tablet mouse, two human drawing classes, and most of a painting class under my belt now. So here's my newest fanart that's being drawn on the computer mostly out of laziness.
( It's a Hiruma-Mamori drawing and no, that's not all of it )
Which should be compared to this piece, my second most recent fanart. Yes, he's on both of them, you might have to scroll.
I won't know exactly how far I've come until I get to the end, but I can say I'm off to a decent start this time.
Also, standing while painting for 6 hours straight results in feet that hurt. In case anyone is wondering. |

Sorry I haven't updated. School started a couple weeks ago and I've been getting in the swing of things.
My cat, Sassy, died. It was so devastating. She hasn't been eating well since winter break so I took her into the vet after it was obvious that she wasn't going to eat. They took blood tests and found a liver infection. They gave me a few medicines I had to give her as well as food I had to force feed, and I had to take her in to the vet every other day to get fluids. After the second time, she wasn't gaining any weight so they told me they need to put a feeding tube in her so I can feed her and get her back up to normal weight and eating on her own eventually. She got that feeding tube on Monday, I had to feed her 4 times a day as well as the medicines, but she just didn't make it. I went to go feed her again last night and she was laying in the same spot as before not moving. I called to her and she didn't answer. I pet her and she didn't move. So I felt for a heart beat and there wasn't one. I haven't stopped crying since then. I fell asleep crying and woke up crying. It's the most terrible feeling I've ever felt. She was 13, going on 14, and I've had her since I was 7. It was so sad.
We also got about 20 inches of snow. Mizzou cancelled classes before the blizzard even started and we had snow days today and yesterday. It's nice. It's only the third time in history that Mizzou has cancelled classes, and the first time they've done it before the storm even came.
