So the DSL on my computer went ka-boot about four days ago. I figured it was just the area getting worked on, then Qwest was down and finally after some nice fun happy time on the phone with a tech, I was originally going to have someone come over tomorrow morning to see what was up. I've been using my mom's laptop in the mean time. I came back from her house not too long ago and discovered, MY DSL IS BACK YAY! So the guy won't need to come over tomorrow. Wooo~

BotCon has released new info. I'm gonna register as soon as it's available. My dad continues to be cryptic, but he does that to be annoying and so once I get up registered, it's a done deal, no matter how much of a prick he can be. I'm getting the Primus package, which is the best and also the most expensive at $360. BUUUUT IT'S WORTH IT. The Mini-Con package ($90) comes with it for my dad. I want to have at least $230 on me just for buying shit, though I hope I don't buy $230 worth of shit. ;;;

Watched Mirrors (nice and gory) and Balls of Fury (delicious Walken and it was pretty good.) Also, I rented Event Horizon; I haven't seen that in 349589345 years so it was good to see it again. See it if you like science fiction/horror, most definitely.

Jasper got some of his shots, too. I think he has to get one more next month and he's good for a year.

I've been marathoning the shit out of MST3K. The earlier seasons, that is. I got into the show in 1996 and was a huge fan, watching most of the episodes of seasons 8 to 10 with Mike. I never cared for watch the Joel era eps but I've become so attached to that moe sleepy eyed man, I just had to start from the beginning. The KTMA episodes are hard to watch and unbearable at times, so I've decided to just forget them for now. For the most part, some episodes were lost and I watched Gamera. Oh woooow that was--yeah.

But right now I'm at the beginning of season 3. Specifically, 3x09 The Amazing Colossal Man. I've been cataloguing my romp in the ye olde episodes on LJ @ crispdeathstare. My waifu and I have become quite addicted, even more so than in the past. HUZZAH! It's fun watching the evolution the show goes through and actually, it's also a bit sad, because you know eventually most everyone in the cast leaves in the later seasons. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Mike is hilarious and so are all the newbies. I much prefer Dr. F and Frank over Pearl and her gang, but I like them too. Just... still, sad. :/ I wish the fanclub was still open. I wrote a letter to send when it was but never did. ._. IT HAD MY MARY SUES!!!

Fucking Dragon Cave. The trade was a complete bust. I did the usual, but this time, I guess someone was faster than me. Fucking Christ goddammit this really pisses me off. You know, looking at C.C. from Code Geass, I realize just how much of a boring character she is. Granted, okay, she's not entirely bad. She's very beautiful and she can be kick ass, but overall, she's just... dull. And Sunrise likes using her as a prime example of their love for ridiculous amounts of fanservice alongside Kallen, so that's really annoying. But basically, I just don't see most of the appeal about her. It's for the same reason I don't see why everyone is batshit insane with Rei from Eva.

Don't get me wrong, I like enigmatic characters, male and female, but C.C. just... meh. That's what she is. Meh. Personally, if you ask me what my favorite type of female anime character is, it's the yandere and the outright fucking nuts girls I like best. Tsundere are okay from time to time. Yuuko isn't yandere or nutso, but she's enigmatic and mysterious without being a fucking cardboard cut out most of the time. Maybe that's a little harsh for C.C., but really, just... no.

That's just my opinion, though.

GODDAMMIT, I picked up a paper on my friend's account and I really want to transfer it to mine, but I can't until these fuckers mature. So any clicks would be loved. The paper has about five days left and I'm not really worried about it not hatching, but I'd really like it on my scroll ASAP so I know it's secure and shit lol.

Also, the waifu and I created a joint account for our LJ crack community, crispdeathstare, and will feature all the inhabitants of our AU insane, crackified version of the SOL/MST3K. So far: orange = Crow, purple = Gypsy, gray = Dr. Crane (yes) and vine = Dr. Forrester. Gypsy is really fast.
