hello my name is penny tchaikovsky (chai like the tea, cough like ow my throat, ski like oh it's snowing let's go to the mountains)
my major is theatre and dance
my age/year is sophomore (19)
i come from the great state of washington. it rains there.

ten true facts and a secret.
#one. i'm poor and my parents don't want me to study dance so i'm kind of dancing my way through school. i teach baby dance and acrobatics classes at the y to get extra moneys.
#two. i don't really date but i like boys and girls and pretty much everyone. people are so interesting.
#three. i've played piano since forever and ever and i play accompaniment sometimes for the local elementary school musicals for extra money too. (i told you. poor.)
#four. christmas is my favorite favorite FAVORITE holiday ever.
#five. i'm a very good friend. i'm not just saying that to brag or whatever. i really am a good friend. be my friend. you'll see.
#six. i guess i could have studied music at allegro but i don't know, i just always wanted to do a grand jeté in front of a packed theatre and see the roses fall at my feet. i like to be in the limelight.
#seven. i have this genius little brother, matt, that everybody loves. he's like, twelve, and he's reading at a college reading level. sometimes i don't know whether to love him or hate him.
#eight. seattle is nice but i wish i lived in new york. i'd see the new york ballet every chance i got. and the rockettes. oh man, i wish i was tall enough to be a rockette. 5'7" just isn't gonna cut it, i guess.
#nine. i'm very friendly but i'm very private. like... i don't really like to talk to people about my problems, i guess? well, i mean... only if you're a really good friend, but i don't really have a really good friend here, so... yeah, i don't really talk about my problems. also therapy is out of the question, don't even ask.
#ten. my favorite thing to eat ever is when my mom makes russian food. her grandparents came over like... after the revolution, i think? and they're like really traditional so my grandparents are and my mom makes blini at easter and oh my god i love them. mom says i'm going to turn into a blin someday. whatever.

#secret. i kind of think my parents don't really care about me or anything i do. like matt is their do-over because i'm not good for anything besides twirling and jumping and playing with little kids and it kind of kills me. please don't tell anyone.
