BREAKING NEWS!!!
Our sources camped outside the event of the New Year, Adrian Mattias and Maggie Brand's wedding are saying----CAN NOW CONFIRM that the wedding has been cancelled just a mere half hour before the couple was set to walk down the aisle!!!!!!!

We just don't know what to do with ourselves!!!

Mattias was spotted leaving the premise, followed shortly by his best man and some groomsmen---no word on if the bride is still in the building or if she made a better escape!!

While our invite got lost in the mail, those that were there---care to share the details?? From what we've heard so far, Mr. Adrian found some incriminating evidence about Mags' infidelity!

Merlin's beard!!! What we wouldn't have done for a front row seat to this!

FALCONS VS. CATAPULTS MATCH UPDATE
For those who were not present at the Catapults vs. Falcons game earlier missed quite an event-filled match! In addition to MORE FOULS than the Catapults are use to and, their new chaser ROSE KNIGHTLEY was taken out of the game toward the end after falling over 20 meters off her broom.

MICHAL CONWAY LYNCH, keeper for the Falcons, knocked Knightley unconscious in attempt to block an incoming goal, which resulted to her fall. A question of purposeful endangerment on Lynch's part was brought up, but no rules were found to be broken so the game rightfully continued play.

When later asked to comment on the incident, Lynch responded, "It was an accident." He did not answer any further questions.

Knightley has not yet awoken and therefore unavailable to comment. However, Catapults Management assured she will make a full recovery by Monday for the kick off ALL-STAR EVENT, the Alumni match.

Wasps Acquire a Seeker of Pride!
As the trade deadline closed yesterday afternoon, the contracts being finalized came to light. With Seth Wadcock leading the way with his trip to Falmouth, the trade season took off in good flight. Trent Harper, all-star Chaser for the Appleby Arrows rejected the deal made by the Arrows management and took his skills to Ballycastle,

"Hopefully the Bat's organization will appreciate a talent like mine," Harper was quoted saying, causing a stir at his press conference.

Carmen Garcia, recruited from the Spanish National Team this off season, was some trouble keeping up with the Wanderers' peculiar techniques and was traded to the Holyhead Harpies, for Joanna Summerby.

As we wait for more news to crop up from yesterday's meetings, our last confirmed move was a surprise to everyone here in the Snitch! offices. Long time Pride Iwan Quigley was sent to Wimbourne to replace Dougal McBride. McBride started the season off hot but his winning streak was cushioned by the low scoring offense of their opposing teams due to two time all-star Ludo Bagman. When asked what provoked this move, Quigley denied comment as he is prone to do.

Well that's it for now, quidditch fans! We'll be live from Kenmare Stadium for next week's all-star match! Teams should be announced by the end of the week!

Breaking News!
Happy Christmas Quidditch enthusiasts! Have we got a present for you! Everyone was saying this year’s trades were quiet and dull, which meant only one thing, someone had something big in the works. We certainly had one thing right, Falmouth Falcons are acquiring a new player this season, but we were completely wrong about the who. Kendall Broadmoor will not be returning back to the shadows of his family name and is sticking it out with the rest of the fledglings on the Kestrels...

Falcons looking to poach some players.
With less than a month left before the Trade Deadline, the Falmouth Falcons are making some waves. Falcon representatives have been spotted in talks with managers of the Harpies, Magpies, and Kestrels. We suspect something major is going down, but all sides are being keeping security tight.

Here at our offices, speculation is focused on Kendall Broadmoor, son of famous Falcon Kevin Broadmoor. Broadmoor has been keeping up with the league’s top seekers, surprising many scouts. Many say that being away from his family’s notoriety has helped the seeker find his own, but who knows? Maybe he’s ready to prove worthy of the name on the back of his jersey.

Hitwizards are turning to the public for help regarding a tragic report of a missing mother and child. Chester Scabior reported his wife, Florence Scabior (pictured on the left) and daughter missing Sunday evening after returning to their home to find the door broken in and the house a mess. We were unable to get a statment from Mr. Scabior since he's left the Offices of Magical Law Enforcement. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of these two, please contact the authorities immediately.

As the one-year anniversary of the defeat of You-Know-Who, the Daily Prophet has compiled a photographic listing of those lost in the war. This will be a week-long special, as to honor those who were lost, more than a day's worth of spread was not enough. Pictures were sent in by family and friends of the war-casualties.

Quidditch Star Kidnapped Mid-Match!
A shocking sight today at Tornadoes Pitch! About thirty minutes into the Tutshill Tornadoes' match against the Appleby Arrows, chaser Maggie Brand disappeared right in mid-air. At first the game continued at its rapid-fire pace but the Tornado players soon stopped the action in concern.

Players disappearing is not a particularly rare occurrence during professional quidditch matches, but investigators at first could not determine where the spell had come from that caused Brand to disappear, and now believe that her broomstick may have been a planted, timed portkey. The match was postponed with the Tornadoes leading 50 - 40, and will be made up later on in the season.

Anyone with information about Brand's whereabouts should contact their local hitwizard authorities with what they know.
