Oh my god I'm so sad that their real life counterpart doesn't seem to be sold anymore. I'd like. Just barely maybe fit in them. Probably not! BUT THEY'RE SO HEINOUS I HAVE TO HAVE THEM. I'm tempted to go look on y!J because I gotta have me dem shoes. They're still up for sale in purple (with leopard print trim ajmhwrgjaeg), blue, pink, white and black but that just doesn't cut it. I hadn't been able to accept the fact that it's technically "winter" (living in California, it's never really winter) until recently deciding that it was time to break out the shoegaze/post black metal. These songs really do give off the feeling of being grim und frostbitten winter, gray rainy days and falling snow. I wish it snowed here, for I'd like nothing more than to go for a long walk while listening to Agalloch, Alcest and Les Discrets.
Moving on, OH BOY MEMORIZING EXCEL FORMULAS FOR MY MATH FINAL. a3+1 is easy enough to remember, and then the other major formula that I have to remember is [variable]*a3+a. Which is also relatively easy, I just need to remember it. Then I think I can bullshit on the graph scaling. In non-icon related news, I've been watching Gundam 00 and I LOVE IT. It's not like... really good, but it's REALLY enjoyable to watch. I just started on the second season but my torrent for it is redonkadonk slow so I don't think I'll get to watch much more of it for a while unless I decide to switch subbers and DDL them. OH WELLLLP.
Gotta have my shiny robots fix.

Fixed my dress like a boss. I had to make a 2" hole in the lining to get to about a 1cm hole in the actual dress. Ripping out the seam to get to the small hole was one of the scarier things I've ever done, considering that this is a ~*burando*~ dress.
Everything is stitched back up properly now. I had to sew the lining back up by hand, and I decided to whip stitch it really closely instead of using a stitch that would be ~*prettier*~ but not as strong.
Next, to finish making a bracelet to go with it that doesn't match with any of my other jewelry fffuuuuuu. and decide if I want to wear a wig tomorrow. I should because my hair is a disaster, but it's always ridiculously warm in Japan Town. It's like all of the stores turn up their heat 10 degrees too high.
In other news, I'm pretty sure I'm going to this tomorrow. I'm not really entirely sure why I want to go because I don't really have anything to say to the A/P designer, but that "special present" has me intrigued! I also want an excuse to
It'd going to be kind of lonely going without anyone though. My friend wants a pair of BtSSB socks so I'm picking them up to count towards my "admission" (lol, Baby. Just make your events free. You already bleed us dry!) fee and then pick up the cheapest item I can find and hopefully resell because I am kind of broke.

Lolidk. I've been heavily into lolita fashion recently. I just bought this:
I was at the Baby store seeing if I could wedge my fat self into the Swan Lake/Le Lac Des Cygnes skirt (I couldn't- would've fit the waist but it wouldn't go over my hips or shoulders. Lollllllll) but I hung around anyway and talked with Saru because he's a cool bro. We got to talking about shoes and I mentioned these completely redonkadonk A/P stripper shoes that I couldn't really imagine wearing anything with but loved anyway. He said that Kanon Wakeshima actually wore them with a long, conservative dress and oh look~ they happen to have it! And then he pulled the dress out and I was like "Fuck you, Saru. I love this dress. I know it fits me. IT BETTER NOT BE ON S"- "IT'S ON SALE! :D"
Ffffuuuuck. At first I was all "Ehhh I look kind of funny in it." But he convinced me to go try it on anyway because I'd lost weight since I last tried it on. And of course, it was actually quite flattering this time.
So then I wandered around and talked to him some more while I was waffling over buying it. I found a small hole in the bust where the large ribbon is sewn in, but the fabric itself isn't torn. The stitch was just broken, so it's really fixable. I tried to get a discount 'cause of that, but since it was already hella on sale unfortunately they couldn't offer more off, which is fine. Saru was really apologetic about the hole, too. Goddmmit, why is the staff at B,tSSB so adorable and nice? I bought it anyway because I have horrible impulse control when it comes to pretty things. I bought some thread to fix it and will probably do so tomorrow night because there's an A/P event on Tuesday at B,tSSB that I'd like to go to.

So now I'm trying to hunt down scans of the print on St. Mephisto Cathedrale because the art is really gorgeous. Viva la architectural prints.
