Physical Description: It is fair to say that the only thing Hendrix and his father will ever have in common is their physical build. Hendrix is massively tall, standing at 6'6 at only sixteen. His shoulders are broad but undefined as he doesn't have the coordination or the desire to work out or pick up a sport like his father is always convincing him to do.

He's got dark eyes and dark hair that he usually keeps long. He has been prone to shaving his head in the summer time. He usually keeps his face clean shaven but there are weeks when he can't be bothered and will let his whiskers grow out a little giving him a scruffy look. He doesn't really have a sense of style, if anything some would call it nerd chic. Sweater vests and ties are probably never going to come back into style but to Hendrix it doesn't really matter.

Personality:
Likes: Books, the library, music, piano, table top games, Wednesdays, history, raspberry sorbet, classical music, museums, tea, the fall season but especially the month of October, order, harmony, when girls sing, Chex mix, porch swings, cribbage, chess, back gammon, shuffle board, sweater vests, Femke Janssen, gel timers, cats, art, painting, comic books, puzzles, stringed instruments, the smell of just lit matches, creaking doors and floor boards, red pepper jelly and cream cheese, the day after after Thanksgiving, snow cones

Dislikes: Being so tall, sports, not fitting in with either side of his family, the color orange, bullies, avocado, jocks, huge crowds, social events, when people get fussy about his bent out of shape books, trumpets, wearing his glasses, swimming in lakes, beer, paper cuts, couch pillows, Apple products, itchy wool, flat pillows, powder blue, light switches, fur, wearing shoes inside, spicy food, sushi, the smell of patchouli, slap stick comedy

Quirks:
*Spent first four years of life with his Nana and Pap pap, now he moves pretty regularly between his mother's apartment in NYC and his father's home just outside of Charleston, South Carolina.
*He spends a lot of time with his Nana and Pap pap, so much that when he gets homesick, he gets homesick for their house in New York.
*His Pap pap gave him a guitar for his tenth birthday, Hendrix loves this guitar more than anything and he plays it everyday.
*Every book he owns is so well loved that the bindings are all bent and many of the pages are dog earred.
*He has contacts but there are days when he has to wear glasses and he has to wear them at night, he's already enough of a nerd without them in his opinion and hates to wear them.

Secrets:
*He has only ever kissed one girl.
*Would rather live with Nana and Pap pap than his parents.
*He got beat up by his cousins before he started school, the beating made him want to go to Dresden rather than Blue Ridge because his cousins were there. Though he didn't tell his dad why, he begged not to go to Blue Ridge but David wouldn't hear anything of it, refusing to send any son of his to that "hippie dippy" institution they called a school.
*He listens to pop music and rap.

Amortentia smells like: Old books, raspberries, a just lit match

Strengths: Hendrix is intelligent, creative, and ambitious. He's a musical genius when it comes right down to it, he can play almost any instrument there is out there and he's curious enough as it is to do just that.

Weaknesses: Awkward, clumsy, and downright quiet it's a wonder he has a social life at all. He has trouble communicating with others. He comes across as meek and soft spoken. He's easily run over and bullied.

Detailed personality:
What most people first notice about Hendrix aside from his height is the fact that he's so soft spoken. When he does speak though, it's usually something important. He's got an educated sense of humor and often finds better company with older individuals. He has a hard time relating to kids his own age. Hendrix is usually nervous when he's talking to people but stage fright is not something that he's ever had. He's incredibly talented and intelligent when it comes to music and books. He doesn't really shine unless he's playing an instrument.

Hendrix is clever and creative, he's always writing music or trying to learn new things. He loved the pursuit of knowledge and being a part of the creative process even if it's just helping a fellow musician or scholar out in their own process. He's curious and inquisitive, simple answers are never enough for him and he will work hard to find more solid answers.

There's not a mean bone in his entire body but he's cautious when it comes to letting other people in. He's a genuine kid but there is a real fear of getting hurt. He's kind of a funny kid in the sense that he's a lot like a typical grandpa, he prefers shuffle board and afternoon tea to a lot of things that teenagers his own age do. He attributes this to the fact that he spends a lot of time with his grandparents. He's a sweet kid with a gentle soul.

Personal History
Hendrix was the result of a drunken one night stand between David Turner and Jilly Meade when they were in high school. The two seniors were at a party and playing in a beer pong tournament, otherwise they would never have spoken with each other. David was from a prestigious wizarding family in the south. He was an athlete, a scholar, and a total charmer. Jilly on the other hand was a hippie from New York and she spent more time in the bathrooms getting high than she did watching the quodpot games. For one night though, they were lovers and that was all it took. Nine months later little Hendrix was born but Jilly was busy with college in New York where she was studying cultural magic and David was busy with an athletic scholarship, neither one had the means or the desire to raise their child so he went to his maternal grandparents Nana and Pap pap. They raised Hendrix until he was four years old when his parents finally came to a custody agreement and had the means to raise him.

Hendrix would spend half his time in Charleston with his father and the Turners and then half his time in New York City with his mother and the Meades. Never exactly the most confident kid, Hendrix had a hard time making friends and having real staying power with them as he only saw the kids for half a year. It was almost worse when his parents had to come together for holidays and pick ups. They constantly talked over each other and over Hendrix about the way he should be raised and how it was affecting him, they never bothered to ask him how he felt though. His parents have yet to have a civil conversation with each other with Hendrix present.

While at either one of his parents houses, he has a hard time fitting in. At his dad's house he has three half brothers who are all athletes like their professional quodpot playing father. The kids on his father side tease him and call him nerdy constantly, he can't relate to them or his dad and when he tried to bring it up with his dad, David simply told him to toughen up. His mother's house is scant better. Though Jilly puts a bit more effort into making him comfortable she's too "out there" in Hendrix's opinion and his half brother and sister there are just on a different planet. He feels incredibly lonely at both of his parents homes. The summer before he started school at Blue Ridge, he was at his father's home reading some of the text books that had been assigned for the year when some of his older cousin approached. After berating him for being a dork they thoroughly beat him up.

Bloodied up and limping he asked his father if he would consider sending him to Dresden instead of Blue Ridge but David wasn't hearing it, didn't even bother to ask why he was bleeding or why he wanted to go to Dresden. Hendrix refused to talk about what happened that afternoon but he left his father's home in Charleston and flooed to Nana and Pap pap's house where he spent the next few days laying low, reading in their small library, and drinking tea. Though his grandparents tried to get it out of him what was wrong and where the bruises and cuts came from, he simply wouldn't talk about it.

He started school that fall and though he was withdrawn he made a few friends and really started to get used to things in Shawnee House. He had a unique bond with the other Shawnee students and their head of house, Liam Knight. It was nice for once to be around musicians and though he was initially hesitant to go to the school he slowly began to love it. Time went on and he grew and learned as all kids do. He was definitely born the oddball on both sides of his family, and Hendrix is just trying to find out where he fits in.
