Ira may or may not be a bit familiar with Athena, or rather Val. She's Acacia's boss over at Bookwise. As Acacia's roomie, she probably treats Ira with the same casualty she regards Acacia.

Then D. Athena has always loved her D. Often had to give him stern looks for some of the things he's done in the past. Looking at D like a little puppy of a brother seems to be about right, though XD

Mallory is another college student but attends the art school in Chicago for photography. Has recurring nightmares about her own past as Eurydice, but just pretends they don't happen. She's friendly, flirty, and likes going out an having fun. So she and Ira would probably get along when they meet, or have already?

Mal would certainly also like Bug, too. College party kid not able to get along with the god of wine and revelry? Pfft.
