So, this is my official hiatus post thingy. I know I kinda fell off the face of the earth like a week ago, but my world exploded. :| No lie. Between my aunts being in town, demanding 100% of my free time (I never saw my computer expect when I couldn't brain enough to RP), and this Fourth of July weekend that exploded into Life-anywhere-but-home....I haven't had a lot of time. -_-

AND....my sister is coming into town tomorrow. Which pretty much means I will not have much in the way of an RP brain. Again. I can't function with people in my house. I really can't. -_o

SO, hopefully I will be back on track sometime... around the 17th? I owe my youngest niece a trip to Six Flags Over Texas, which should happen the 15/16th. Cross your fingers!

OK folks, so Zeus's thread with Bug is stalled since he asked Zeus if any of the others are in town.

So...

Who all has run into Zeus in Chicago? Right now I need other gods he has met, and any details (for example, did you meet Zeus and you told him where he could find you, or how to get in touch with you, etc...)

Uh, anyway! This here is Nike. Or Natalie. Or Nat, possibly, if you're a buddy of hers. Formerly the goddess of Victory, sentinel of Zeus, and companion of Athena. Now she's just a high school athletics coach and personal trainer. She likes just about everybody, though she apparently hasn't hooked up with the old family in a while.

Lol, been so busy replying to other entries I haven't done my own xD SO HERE ARE THE KIDS! ALSO BEFORE THAT. HERE IS THE BECKY.

First is the lovely Ira Reynolds. She's a sophomore at University of Chicago, undeclared major but she really like religion studies, history, and art. She's the reincarnation of Icarus and often gets visions of her life as Icarus, she has never been able to really understand what these visions mean so she often self medicates to quite the visions. For the most part she's quiet, sweet, and if you get to know her, kind of dorky. She daydreams a lot so she's likely to literally bump into people on a daily basis. She lives with Acacia wayward and likes to be around a lot of loud noises, people, and music. Parties? Shows? Hell yes.

Secondly is Bug diobuggacle or Dionysus. He is a wandering vagrant who just drifted into town. He has been wandering the world for years. Where ever he is it's sure that there is a party nearby. He's a pretty content guy if a little jaded by living among mortals. He's usually in bright spirits, he's got tons of energy, he's incredibly playful, and he's always up for pranking people. Though most of his relationships with mortals are just for fun, he does make a few exceptions for worthy companions. Being friends with Bug is something akin to being friends with a really friendly puppy.

SO! FRIENDS, ENEMIES, ROMANCES. WHAT SAY YOU MY FRIENDS? You know me ladies, I'm up for crazy. <3

Hello everyone! I go by Blu, and I am here to bring you all a normal little mortal by the name of Evan Gwoździe.

He's a tall lanky redhead from Michigan with a thing for taking pictures. He's also a photography major (of which I see there is another! yay! perhaps they can meet?). He's new to the whole college scene and will be looking to make acquaintances. For more info about him feel free to go check out his app here.

Hey everyone! I am EJ, and I will be bringing two lovely gents to the game!

The first one up is this is fella here. Hermes, or rather Jack Dolios as he goes by these days, a playful sort of guy. He is pretty much down for anything and everything, especially if it is at the expense of someone else. The important things to know about him, however, is that he is a restless sort. He doesn't like to linger in any particular place too long, and he's already been in Chicago for two years. That's a pretty long time for this guy, and he's a little antsy. True to his nature, though, since the fall he has pretty much traveled the whole world.

Other things to know!

++ He is fluent in a number of languages, all the ancient tongues, and the major languages of today: English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese in particular.

++ If you want to do a business deal, either legally or under the table? This is your guy. He thrives on business, no matter what form of legality it comes in.

++ He is a trickster, and thus sometimes has a hard time taking things seriously enough for the people around him. He does, however, take it seriously when you threaten his family and closest friends.

++ He is clever, a flirt, bisexual to his hearts content, and a smooth talker. He can't lie, but he isn't obligated to tell you everything, and he likes to get your goat. A lot. For more, just check out his app. Fair warning, it is pretty long.

Secondly! I shall be bringing you a little ole mortal guy. His name is Drake (easydrakeoven), though he goes by D a lot. THere isn't much to say about him, really. He doesn't believe in gods, he is in a band, he is a film maker, and he pretty much lives in someone's basement.

But despite all that, he has terrible luck when it comes to staying out of business he doesn't need to fall into.

Jessi has redubbed me POLLEMZ! So. That is what I shall be!

I'm bringing in Persephone, currently going by Acacia Volkov, who is a punk/scene/lolita-hybrid type. Currently an art student in Chicago, she works at Bookwise, and rents an apartment with Ira Reynolds (trollin ). Despite her appearance, her disposition is much more friendly and bubbly. She hasn't seen Hades in a few centuries, but she'd be happy for that to change. ~~(No, I'm not fishing at all...)~~

Hello folks!

Jessi here, and I pretty much know all of you already (so far). I am also the Mod here at AL :D I have two kiddies here to start.

My lovely girl here is Athena, going by this life as Val Garrett. Ended up in Chicago about two years ago and decided to kick around for a while. She's fairly well settled in a house and she owns her own bookstore called Bookwise. Has some decent modern stuff but Bookwise is the best place to to find older and more interesting books, and many a collector has found their way in there. She's still holding her oath as a virgin goddess and being among mortals has given her a better (and somewhat darker) sense of humor and a bit warmer in spirit.

Secondly I have the old soul Eurydice (vignetting). Currently she is just being a rather normal college kid. Partying included. She's a student at the Illinois Institute of Art with a major in photography, and she's rather good at it. Although she is not aware of it, she tends to act very much the nymph she was. She has no idea she's a reincarnation of anything, let alone the figure of a very sad tale.

OK THAT IS IT. I CANNOT STAND IT. I WILL BE FIRST. POPPING THIS BITCH'S CHERRY.

Hiiiii! I'm Katie. For those who don't know me, I'm 29, mom of a 15 month old, and a general night owl. And this right here is Aphrodite. Goes by Desi Zayne. She's your typical Goddess of love and beauty, except that she's more than a little jaded by centuries of bad pickup lines and people who don't return her phone call in the morning. She loves museums and to reminisce about how things used to be, has little tolerance for fools anymore, and likes to just get out and talk to people. She does still like to go to parties, orgies, clubs, and pretty much anywhere that people get together and celebrate the things that she delights in.

Desi likes being around mortals, but hasn't to my knowledge met up with any deities, demi-gods, or old souls in Chicago as of yet. That could change though! Let me know if you would like to have back-plot or... front plot, I suppose, with my girl here! I'm seriously open for anything. Current enemy, future love interest, desire to scene something out, you name it and I'm for it!
