Hey guys! This is Mark with my second character, a Beauregard senior named Malachi Ryder. Mal is a tall, lanky, tough looking guy, who is, for the most part, a good-natured person. What you see is what you get. However, he has a few things working against him: a great-grandfather who was a dark wizard, blackening the family reputation, and unresolved anger issues from his father’s murder, when Mal was six years old. These things thrust upon him an unwanted ‘bad boy’ image, that seems to be self-perpetuating; any questions about his family can cause a violent reaction. He has also started to abuse alcohol to ‘take the edge off’.

Malachi is a Quodpot player, an artist and an excellent cook (he has a passion for cooking-it calms him when his temper gets the best of him). He prefers to have one steady girl, but his last steady girl left him because of his family shame (the great-grandfather); her family demanded she leave him. Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tries, Mal’s tendency to solve problems with his fists, his quick temper, when his family is involved, and his excessive partying are making it almost impossible for him to shake his ‘bad boy’ image.

He hates Authority figures, Smart asses, No-alcohol parties, cheap/nasty-tasting food, Poseurs, Guns, Loss of Control, Losing (Quodpot or whatever game he’s watching), Having his good time ruined, Being corrected, Muzak, Being pegged as a ‘Bad Boy’.

He has a few quirks…
-Freaks at loud explosive noises (like weapon-fire).
-Has a foul mouth with his contemporaries, but can control it with adults.
-He loves his beer and will drink during a party until he’s numb, but he loathes drugs, because it was drug dealers that killed his father during a drive-by shooting when he was 6 yrs old.
