open to joshua [02 Sep 2009|12:13am]
As predicted, Logan had very little time (if any at all) to see Joshua between Julian and Andrew. And now Jeremiah was back as well, so a part of Logan was wondering if he should just head back to his loft in Seattle and get back to work. He wasn't even sure what he was hanging around for, really. It wasn't as if Joshua really wanted him there anyway, he reasoned.

Still, he was sticking around. At the moment mostly because he was hoping Wendell would be returened soon, as well as Vance. But until then, he sort of kept to himself and sketched while he listened to music. He'd sketched a picture of Josh in wolf form for the boy, and left it under his door the night before. (Which Andrew didn't really appreciate). When he heard the door to the main house open up, he glanced towards the stairs to see Holden going up them. For whatever reason, Miah was ridiculously attached to Holden and Logan had to wonder if maybe he'd spend some time with the little boy, thus freeing up some of Joshua's time since Andrew was at some shop in town. He tugged his headphones off and put his iPod aside along with his sketch book before he got to his feet and headed for the back door. He was going to go for a run on his own.

joseph, cassidy [02 Sep 2009|12:53am]
There was already a little blood bubbling up around Cassidy's lips but his lungs were going to heal fast enough that the puncture wasn't going to kill him. He was shaking as he scrambled along after Joseph, trying to stay on his feet. He had no idea where they were going. )

Fall was definitely upon them, and Vaughn could feel it especially in his hands. They were close to being completely healed by now, but the phantom aches and pains seemed like they would never go away, not really. It was frustrating, but at least he could do simple things now without too much trouble. When his hands ached, he could just ignore it for the most part and push through whatever task he was doing.

Between Vance being taken, and Kinley having had the baby, Vaughn hadn't seen much of Jacob. He'd gone to see Parker and to see Jacob, but when Vance was taken the visits took a backseat. Now, though, he was tired of waiting around and anxious to go with Hunter to find Wendell and Vance. Now that they had Jeremiah back, Hunter wanted to go back to the woods where they'd found the boys and see if they could track the other wolves and find their packmates. And Vaughn desperately wanted to go along. He was hoping Hunter would allow it.

For now, though, he was going to make some time for Jacob. He headed for the house he knew Kinley was staying in, because there was no doubt that was where little Parker and Jacob would be, and he headed up the porch steps slowly. The air was chilly, biting even, and Vaughn had on a navy peacoat along with a red scarf. His hands were tucked away in his pockets, fingerless gloves on them, and he wondered if he should knock or just stand there. After a moment he decided knocking was most polite, standing there was lurking. So he knocked lightly, knowing Jacob would hear it, and hoping it wouldn't wake Kinley or the baby if they were sleeping.
