Re: Hal/Carol
Hal laughs aloud. "Okay, twenty might be a little much. One of the upsides to you getting pregnant at any point would be that you'd /have/ to hire another assistant, which you seem to be avoiding like the plague." Hal says.
He looks down at her with a serious expression on his face, putting all jokes aside.
"I've been thinking about kids a lot lately, Carol. I've been thinking about what I could teach a child, too. My dad didn't live long enough to see me grow up and find a woman who'd make an honest man of me. I love playing with my niece and nephew. It used to be enough to be 'Cool Uncle Hal' who took them to the park or out for a hot dog, then returned them home." Hal says, phrasing his next words carefully.
"That's not really enough anymore. I'd like to have big family dinners with my brother's family, my family and friends, and celebrate stuff like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Independence Day." Hal says.
"I'd like to have a family and I can't think of anyone better to do it with." he says.
