HARRY DRESDEN — WIZARD

Lost Items Found. Paranormal Investigations.
Consulting. Advice. Reasonable Rates.
No Love Potions, Endless Purses, Parties or Other Entertainment

The Dresden Files is a series written by Jim Butcher, based around the idea of a wizard opening up an investigations agency in, of all places, Chicago. The books are dark, interesting, original and painfully funny - they're usually described as 'Harry Potter for Adults'.

The books are growing in popularity - especially since James Marsters, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series fame, is the voice of Dresden himself on the audio books. Added to that, Sci-Fi modeled a series after the books.

This is a community dedicated to the books and the TV series. If you happen to like either, by all means, join and take a look around. Feel free to post fanfiction, news, theories, icons, art, and other things related to the series. Off-topic posts are welcomed as long as they're somewhat in the field - I.E.: something about LJ or Jim Butcher.

The only rules are play nicely. And, of course, since the books contain some stuff that is adult in nature, mature content will be allowed, but please, label the mature stuff CLEARLY, or you will be warned.

Post spoilers under a cut-tag. Post long stuff under a cut-tag - this goes for news and fanfiction. Post pictures over 300 pixels by 300 pixels under a cut tag, though that's a given.

And that's all there is to it. Oh, and, of course, have fun.

Affiliates:
Jim's Official Website
Jim Butcher's Forums

Layout by tomorrow_brings & header textures from h-d-stock on DeviantArt.
