I'm sure Snape is extremely wary of Lupin, but he is probably civil as long as Remus is!! He tries not to hold the fact that he is James Potter's friend against him too much.

I think that he probably wouldn't know what to do if he encountered Xanthe! XD She would probably make him uncomfortable and awkward. PERFECT, BRING ON THE AWKWARD TIMES!
