Yes and no? She's got intimacy issues. She's well aware of it but acting upon fixing it is what's scaring her. Her heart's mended but like any broken bone, it aches from time to time. She's hesitant and while she feels like she doesn't love Sung Hyun anymore, she doesn't know how to act upon actually getting over him. He's that first love that she wants to hang onto but knows it's not going to go anywhere. It's why she continues not to sing anymore. Singing brings back memories she doesn't want to look back on, not because they were bad but because it reminds her of a time when she felt like she was on top of the world and that nothing bad could ever happen to her. She's not sure if she wants that reminder again. Settling to be content with her life seems to be the more appealing option, even if it's the wrong one.

Carter makes her happy, don't get her wrong. She adores him and could even come to love him if she ever deals with her shit but with how she is now, it will just remain adoration and a puppy kind of love. Getting too emotionally involved with another guy frightens her and she doesn't want to get so deep and have her heart broken like in the past.
