The Battle for Everything (Sept 22nd-23rd)
Asgard. The Golden Realm. The Realm Eternal. One of the nine worlds. Home of the Norse gods. Darkness covered the land and the realm's inhabitants had retired for the evening. Peace and quiet had fallen over a land frequently subjected to strife and violence.

A blinding light shattered the darkness and Kang and his followers materialized from the portal. Kang took a second to survey the scene. The reshaping of worlds started here. Tonight he would have the one who would be a thorn in his side decades from now. Tonight gods would fall and die and the babe would be his. The last weapon to be collected and one that would help him reshape worlds in Kang's image.

"Kill them all," Kang said to his gathered forces collected from various worlds from various points in time.

The ones that had given the so-called-heroes the most problems. The new Mandarin, son of the former, at the height of his power before he made the mistake of getting involved with the Stark girl. Apocalypse plucked from time just before his defeat at the hands of the X-Men, X-Factor and the Avengers. Hyperion the titan of myth plucked from time before his defeat at the hands of heroes. These joined the deviants he grabbed before their defeat and a being named Mongul.

"The babe being born this night is mine," Kang said. The child would serve Kang and be the implement of Kang's will.

	Arrows come flying towards their target. Aridis is going to try and take the Deviant down from a distance. She sees no reason to directly fight her foe just yet. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Almost lazily the snakes of Krilgh's hair hiss a spell that incinerates the arrows far before they reach her and send a spout of balefire back at Aridis. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Aridis snarls and utters a spell. Vines grasp at her and pull her under ground protecting her from the bale fire. She is missing from sight for a moment. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Krilgh's snakes rear up and redouble their efforts in casting to begin breaking up the area in which Aridis disappeared and the aura of ear around her spikes. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	And Aridis bursts out of the ground right behind Krilgh. With her thin blade, which is a lot like a rapier, she stabs forward intending to get her from behind. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Krilgh manages to twist far enough to avoid the brunt of the attack retaliating with a sweep of her poisonous claws, but is still left bleeding from a wound in her side. The snakes of her hair his a binding spell that attempts to wrap Aridis's arms to her sides and render her blade useless. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Aridis just breaks through the spell with a dull roar. The bite does not even slow her down as it is barely able to get through her armor so the poison is ineffective. "You will die today, witch." the goddess snaps swinging again. She does know that she must take care. The next claw attack might get her where her armor doesn't offer as much protection. 	A hiss from her hair sets the bonds to reforming around Aridis's legs to trip her. Krilgh catches the blade with her claws, but even with her snakes attempting another binding spell she's left open on either side for Hjordis's attack. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Krilgh screamed when the sword pierced her skin. Deviant flesh was tough, but the sword was made out of Asgardian steel. Had Hjordis been older and stronger the sword would have done more damage. Krilgh was distracted and not paying attention to Aridis. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Aridis rolls back drawing her bow and a single arrow, She did not look at Krilgh but at the arrow. "Little sparrow of Asgard, fly," she mutters. This is not a spell. She doesn't look as she lines up the arrow and takes the shot. The arrow arcs towards the Deviant's eye. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
