[13 Sep 2008|12:28pm] i'll be the first to break the journal cherry, because i really want to see this place live. this is athina floyd, girls gymnastics captain, national honor society member, among other things. her father is a bill gates type computer geek and her mother is a new york bestsellers author, and she has two younger brothers. she's the kind of girl who's serious about school without having a stick up her ass about constant studying, and the only thing she fully dedicates herself to is gymnastics. athina, better known as pink (not after the singer, after the band pink floyd), has the attitude of a laid back teenager who doesn't care what rumors are going around about her. if they're not true, she's not going to waste her time trying to prove their not. she loves to go out to parties, but doesn't spend her time looking to hit up every one in the area. while she pride's herself in not being the biggest bitch in the school, everyone knows just how big of a bitch she actually can be. she's one of the afternoon student radio dj's and active in the national honor society and snowboarding/skiing club. athina's always been daddy's little girl and has him wrapped around her finger, getting anything and everything she wants. when she's not studying, practicing, or partying one can usually find her at some remote underground club with a vodka and tonic in one hand and her blackberry in another as she listens to the "hottest" underground bands. she's never been miss queen bee of the school, athina is just the girl that everybody knows or at least has had one class with her. storylines of all kind are needed and welcomed, exes, friends, enemies, whatever. i'm up for it! 32 comments|post comment

[13 Sep 2008|02:48pm] i'm bad at this type of thing, but say hi to bryghton lancelot malloren ii; only his family calls him bryghton, though, while everyone else knows him as bryght and just his closest friends can call him bry. he grew up in wales, united kingdom and moved to salt lake city, utah when he was fourteen to start his high school years. his parents are the duke and duchess of wales and are an extremely wealthy, well-known, respected family in europe - at least his father's side is. his father is really pushing him to live up to his duties as the next duke of wales, but bryght wants nothing to do with it - which is why he chose to move salt lake city (where his parents had a vacation home which bryght now lives in on his own with a nanny). bryght's mother is a gold digger to say the least. he's currently a senior at west high school and the class of 2009 president along with the defensive midfielder on the boys' soccer team which he's been on all four years. he has an amazingly powerful kick to the point that the forwards usually pass the ball back to him at the start of the game, and bryght is able to make a goal from basically the opposite side of the field. he's their secret attack and usually every game is won with him. bryght's also members of the national honor society and snowboarding/skiing club. as for his personality... he's a spoiled little punkass and loves being the center of attention. he's very manipulative, cocky, cynical, sarcastic, yet charming, classy, and respectful at the same time. he was raised in a very prim and proper lifestyle in wales but no longer has his accent; he can jump back into it when he wishes though. he uses the money his father sends him for partying and the such, but still knows his place in society. he's forced to return home every summer to attend boring high society events which he hates. basically think a slightly tamer version of chuck bass with just a different background (the women, partying, fashion sense, attitude, etc). anyway, i would really like a male best friend for him whom would know bryght better than his own family or anyone for that matter, hook-ups, party friends, classmates, enemies, etc. whatever works for me! :) 73 comments|post comment

[13 Sep 2008|03:55pm] hello gorgeous people! i want a storyline with every one of you, so i'm sure we can figure something out if you comment. this is maranda flores, girl's soccer captain (aka nazi) and future awesome journalist. her parents are pretty well known around town for their personal scandal- they were a rich, power couple and she was cheating on him with her psychiatrist, which explained all her mother's late-night visits. maranda isn't much fazed by it, though, as they never really seemed like they were in a relationship anyway, they just fed off of each other's money. she comes from a pretty old raft of bucks, and she doesn't realize how spoiled she really is when it comes to getting what she wants. she's obsessive compulsive, so she will definitely run all her soccer kiddies into the ground, and she knows what she wants. she's very funny, but she has a sort of dry sense of humor. she doesn't trust people easily, and she used to go through boys pretty quickly, until she found the one that wowed her enough to make her realize some were worth more than just being cute with. she also used to be a pretty big party animal, but she's tried her hardest to tone that down- these days, the less reason people have to talk about her, the better. she's always had her own personal spotlight, but for once the glare from it is getting to be too much for her. she curses like a sailor, likes to cook a lot, so she's always making her friends food, she likes to cuddle with people, she's dependent and over-protective, and sometimes incredibly annoying but generally nice to be around. i need ex-boyfriends, that "special guy" that made her stop being an idiot about relationships, we could decide if they're together or not, best friends, people that don't like her, people that work with her, people that used to hang out with her at parties, people that have class with her, people that have heard about her... comment and we'll figure it out :) 1 comment|post comment

This is Rosalie Ortega, better known as Rosie, who will be on both the soccer and field hockey teams (co-captain for the field hockey team, I think) in addition to ski/snowboarding club and drama club. She is the second child and only adopted daughter of Rafe and Elena, who took her in when she was three. Rosie does not know or remember her birth parents, nor does she have any desire to know who they are. She has one older brother, Xavier, who is attending Salt Lake Community College with no real direction in his life, which doesn't surprise anyone considering the majority of his high school career was spent in and out of detention. In any case, most of the classmates might not even be aware that she has a mother, as Elena is a tobacco lobbyist who travels all over the country. Instead, Rafe more than makes up for this in infamy as proud owner of one of the city's adult novelty stores - bringing together middle aged businessmen and just turned eighteen year olds across the board. Rosie doesn't mind her father's occupation all that much and is fairly desensitized to the whole thing, though even she has to admit it still stings when people call her family immoral and a bunch of sinners because of how they make a living. As far as personality goes, she's very much a tomboy. She's always been the type that prefers rolling in the mud or playing outside with her basketball hoop than taking shopping trips, and has gone to all semi-formal dances in pants instead of dresses. Rosie is also extremely passionate about the things she's interested in, and on the flip side extremely apathetic about the things she isn't interested in (case in point: school work). Generally she has a pretty laid back demeanor, though can have a bad habit of trying to make every situation about her trying to be funny if she's in the right mood to press her luck. She also has the ability of getting in over her head without thinking much about it, but will never ask for help, even if she desperately needs it. On the dating scene Rosie tends to be more oblivious to the idea that anyone would actually want to date her than she really should be, so she hasn't had much experience (which is ironic when you consider she's usually the first to throw in her two cents about relationship advice before anyone else). Financially speaking her family is comfortable: neither rich nor terribly poor, either. Her parents can take their kids on vacations during the summer time and during school breaks along with other things. But, unfortunately, being comfortable doesn't always mean that you have a lot of money to throw around. So in order to get her own play money, Rosie picked up a job and now works the Drive Thru at Taco Bell on weekends, usually during the closing shifts where she has to decipher whether the person was slurring "Extra sauce" or "The beef is boss". In terms of what I'm looking for, one or two close friends... maybe even very feminine girls to contrast her would be cool. Other friends who don't mind Tim Burton movie marathons, her inexplicable love for Jane Austen, and not mind riding in the back of her unmarked white van. One or two exes would be interesting as well, and maybe a cousin through her mother that has morally righteous parents. Other than that, I'm up for brainstorming!
