Wyatt was looking forward to observing Micah in the field. He was curious to see how the man worked, especially when it came to interviewing the families of the victims. This case was horrific due to the way the bodies had been in pieces and dumped so carelessly. The press had already caught wind of it, and the teenagers who had found the macabre house were local celebrities, reluctantly at best. Wyatt felt bad for them, no teenager should have to have seen what they'd stumbled upon.
There wasn't much time to check into the hotel, drop off their things and then get started on the case at hand. Beckett was busy getting in contact with the press, trying to maneuver their cooperation as well as working with the space provided for the BAU to do their work. A well oiled machine, everyone set into their preliminary tasks and Wyatt was waiting in the big black SUV for Micah. Wyatt didn't know how to drive, so he was sitting in the passenger seat, leaning his head against the tinted windows, trying not to think about anything too hard. He'd memorized all of the details about the girls, but nothing was clicking together as a commonality between any of them. |
