It is bs! Insurance companies are all about the BS!

We have to go back to the orthopedic in three weeks for more xrays and a re-evaluation to make sure that the bones are healing and whatnot. Even though they have their own xray machines in the office, my insurance company won't cover xrays there. So, I have to call the hospital, schedule xrays in their radiology department, call the primary care physician (who, by the way, hasn't seen Chibi once through any of this and pretty much has NOTHING to do with care/treatment for any of this) to get a referral for the xrays (even though the ortho is the one who ordered them) and then pick up the xrays to take them to the ortho for evaluation.

oh, and it costs me $20 out of pocket for each referral-type visit.

*flops on* ugh! I don't want to be a responsible adult anymore!
