It has come to my attention, that a certain student in his sixth year has made not only one but many very unfortunate decisions. Let it be known that I will not tolerate any violence, both magical and physical, against other students for any reason. Neither will I turn my cheek to threatening other students. The Hogwarts staff had decided that in order to encourage inter-house relationships as well as high level learning these journals would be allowed; however, if I am informed of students continuing to use these journals in such an atrocious manner, they will no longer be allowed. We of course do not wish for this to happen. The student that I had referred to prior, is very fortunate to still be residing in this castle. I met with him earlier and due to the fact that the staff is not ignorant to certain hexes, all of his entries, as well as comments on other entries, will be closely monitored to ensure that such an act will not happen again. I urge not only our prefects and head boy and girl to enforce our rules, but every student to come forward to me or any other staff member if need be. Our rules are here for a reason, and they will be enforced. All parties that were involved in this incident will be punished appropriately. And let this serve as a reminder to students who do not wish to abide by our rules.  |
