His puffed his cheeks out in annoyance for a few seconds, then deflated. This wasn't helping him, she wasn't helping him at all. But--- the last thing Adrian needed was for her to assume anything negative of him coming out of this conversation. That left him very little room to continue the conversation or push further. He supposed she thought she was doing the right thing for her teammate-- it was still annoying as fuck, but at the very least admirable.
Adrian watched as Maggie sat herself down on the ground and continued to half ignore him, half brush him off. At that moment, it suddenly became difficult to not get short with her. "Right," he spoke, letting out a short sigh after he spoke.
But then it dawned on him that he didn't need her permission to look around. There seemed to be the possibility that Odette would be here... Maggie just was not going to help him in any way. Obviously it would have been easier that way, but it wasn't like he couldn't take the search upon himself. Uplifted by that thought, he shook his head at her and produced a smile.
"Thanks anyway," Adrian said, his shoulders shrugging slightly at he spoke. "See you around," he finished with a wave before turning around to head back into the stadium. The rooms for players wouldn't be too hard to find; stadiums were generally built the same, weren't they?
