EVERYONE SAY HI TO GERTIE! HI, GERTIE! HI!
Well, actually, her name is Gertrude de Witt but WHO THE HECK WANTS TO BE CALLED GERTRUDE? Certainly not her. It drives her nuts when her big sister Belise does so. However, Belise, like most of Gertie's old teachers, knows that the only way to get her to shut up for a second is to full name her. Gertie happens to be a Healer Trainee! (My first one!) However, she moonlights as a dueler and she's just a wee bit obsessed with her idol Delilah Spinnet. Did I say a wee bit? I meant VERY VERY VERY MUCH OBSESSED WITH DELILAH SPINNET. SO MUCH THAT SHE WANTS TO BE DELILAH SPINNET. She is not aware of how creepy this obsession happens to be and tends to babble ad nauseum about her favorite idol to her co-workers. She is also madly in love with a few of her male superiors. SHE HAS ISSUES OKAY? But she's so cute about it, people usually brush her off as harmless. Beware that she tends to cling to anyone who is nice to her. This is because she was called "GERTIE THE HIPPO" behind her back and sometimes to her face in school because she was very much overweight for the longest time but lost all that baby fat pretty quick when she hit puberty and developed a mild obsession with exercise and what she eats. She's just...obsessive in nature, okay? OH AND SHE'S A 1980 GRYFFINDOR AND HAS A BRIE LARSON FACE. Pretty amazing, right?
