HEY GUYS!


So, this is Kristin bringing in another fresh face. This is Flynn Wright, Hufflepuff '81. He's an artist who works for the Daily Prophet, producing a weekly comic strip to run in the paper. He also has a part time job working at Boogaloo, since he is a starving artist. He's basically a big kid for the most part, usually always looking like he's in a good mood, and I see him as having a lot of stupid inside jokes with people. He does have a serious side, in the sense that he's a workaholic and spends more time making sure his weekly submissions are perfect instead of sleeping, and can sometimes be found napping in the back room of the music store during his breaks...or when business is dreadfully slow. He has a very chill, almost Californian laid-back persona, and it takes a lot to get him pissed, but that's not to say it never happens. You cn see more about him here!

Helloooo everyone.

It's been long over due for me to have a character that is actually closer to 20 than to 30, so I present to you Miss Charlotte Irene Sweeting, Lottie to her close friends, everyone else is welcome to call her Charlotte, Tyvm. 1981 Gryffindor because my ocd to make the directory even made me, she is nothing like my other Gryffindors at all. She is very prim and proper and if the opportunity arose for her to marry a prince and be a princess, she most certainly would not run away.

Currently she is in a love/hate relationship with her job at the WWN because all she really wants to do is be a Personality on her very own show about nothing at all important everything and anything she deems to be interesting, but instead she is just a lowly intern type errand runner/secretary. But one day she will catch the station managers attention and convince him that she is in fact the next big thing.

She speaks sass and sarcasm fluently, and an expert at reading books by their covers. She's not very good at pretending to be nice to people she doesn't like. It takes a while to really get to know her, but once she has decided that she likes you she is fiercely loyal and will find someone to throw under the knight bus in your stead.

um um um I can't think of anything else at the moment.

SHE IS KINDA CRAZY BUT YOU SHOULD BE FRIENDS/FAMILY/ENEMIES WITH HER ANYWAYS.

I think I just get jealous of everyone's new fresh faces and babies! But when my muse strikes it hits hard and who am I to stop it?

THIS is Jake Bexley (little bro to William the Falcon!). He's a 1980 Gryffindor (thanks to a popsicle flip via Alter!) and a muggleborn AUROR. Mostly does interrogating now! He was one of the last bunch to come into training while the war was in full swing. Very eager to get out of Hogwarts and help the cause. Wee lamb's first big mission was the earthquake that hit Diagon Alley so that was like WELCOME TO THE WORLD, KID!

At some point towards the end of the war when things were going crazy, Jake was put under the Cruciatus for a stupid amount of time and it's still got him...I guess all I can really say is tweaked lmao He hasn't had much social interaction since the end of the war and as I work on him more will come into development :D I think he's in and out of Mungo's because of his mental issues but we'll figure that out ;)

OKAY you know the drill wahooo!! Jake Abel face me gusta!! But I couldn't delete Tomas' icons so it will be a slow transition lmaooo

So I have a problem.

The first step is admitting it, right?

Anyway, allow me to introduce to you my new boy: Orion Sinistra, son of Aurora Sinistra, the astronomy professor at Hogwarts. He's a '75 Gryffindor, and makes a living as a Dragon Trainer. He's a social butterfly in the sense that he'll talk to just about anyone, but he doesn't go out of his way for attention. He's a thrill seeker (if you haven't guessed by his occupation alone), and likes to have a good time. He does have a bit of a temper at times, but he's pretty easygoing for the most part. He tries to let the little things slide.

I suck at character introductions, but yes. I'm very excited about him.

HE NEEDS FRIENDS! Lettie, I'm thinking he would know Marissa and her family through his job, but definitely let me know if that works for you. But really, have at him.

SAVANNAH HAS A NEW FACE!

I loved Autumn, but she was never as athletic looking as I always imagined Savannah would be. Also, I hated her sense of style. So there was also that.


But now she is Cobie Smulders. Enjoy!

Well, I usually make characters when my life is in turmoil, so I thought I would try one when I was happy! It only took me like eight months to finish her. WHEE!

So this is Melania Comstock, Ollie/rabbit's older sister. She is a 1975 Gryffindor, pure-blood, trust fund baby, and an artist. Until recently, she was living mostly in Florence, Italy and flitted between there and England since she left school in '75. A big showing brought her back home in the spring where she has been considering moving full-time, in part so she can be closer to bug her precious bb brother ♥ There is also some backstory where her parents were "mysteriously" killed very early in the war because they were funding Ministry/Dumbledore war efforts with their insane amount of money, so there's just a wee bit of tragedy.

There's more in her journal, but Melania is basically a wild, fun type. She has a very passionate personality and throws herself into everything she does with 110%. She NEEDS attention, cannot abide boredom and cooks up trouble more often than not because of it. She's very honest about her faults, but doesn't work real hard at trying to better herself -- she mostly accepts herself as she is and can be self-deprecating about it. She's friendly if you can get past an undoubtedly poor first impression.

She's excited to finally be able to play and I would love some plot for her!

OH HELLO THERE

THIS IS OLLIE COMSTOCK, QUITE POSSIBLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BOY IN HIS YEAR/THE WORLD THANK YOU VERY MUCH! WHICH IS 1980, GRYFFINDOR BY THE BY! This little one is, surprise surprise, A QUIDDITCH PLAYER (CHASER) and most definitely my last one of that kind because I have a team of my own now basically so that is that.

BUT ANYWAY, PRIDE YOU HAVE A NEW TEAMMATE! He's reappearing from playing a couple of international seasons in VENICE for the last few years, and is very happy to be back home (even though he very much misses the city on the water). He may be, perhaps, a bit intimidated by Pride's rep BUT I AM SURE THEY WILL WELCOME HIM WITH OPEN ARMS DESPITE NOT EXACTLY HAVING THE MOST PRIDEFUL OR SNOTTY ATTITUDE. At least his famous family name makes up for only half being a legacy brat? Except being rich and having a famous family isn't all that important to him and luckily has not gone to his head (I guess that's what happens when you have a happy childhood?)

HE IS WELSH! HE WAS ON THE WELSH EURO CUP TEAM! the mysterious last chaser spot filled? HELLO CARYS HOWELL JEREMIAH ANDREA WEST AND CADFAN!

WHAT ELSE. he has a lot of tattoos and smokes and kind of looks like he would be a surly bad boy if you judged his book by that cover but he is actually very sweet and enjoys partaking in activities like sitting at a cafe with a cappuccino for hours with a good book just as much as being a rowdy gryffindor doing fun (but stupid) things. He is well-adjusted. and normal. and is currently happy with his life.

So since the beginning of the year is always an RP slump for me (is April beginning of the year still?), I decided to challenge myself. I then had the really insane idea of doing

30 THREADS IN 30 DAYS!

Basically, my goal is to have a new thread every day. It doesn't have to be finished within the month, which is why it's not called 30 Complete Threads In 30 Days, because that is suicide.

Anyway, if you'd like to lend me a hand in my goal, that would be suh-weet! I know there aren't many of us, so you will probably end up with a nice chunk of threads yourself BUT IS THERE REALLY ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT? Especially since we've just had an activity sweep, this could be a great way to jump back into the swing of things.
