So, it's been like an eon since I've done anything around here, so I need you guys to do me a favor and fill me in on some things I've missed. Lots has been going on around here, between my job and life in general, so I haven't had the brainpower to form a coherent sentence. I'm trying (REALLY HARD!) to get back into the swing of things. I just need to like...reboot my brain. Which may take a little while longer before I get into writing scenes, but at least I can warm up with journal entries, or try to whenever I have the time.

This is Cameron Montgomery. Poor bb has a rather rough couple of months ahead of him. UMM Put a lot in his narritive but basically Papa Scabior felt duplicates weren't necessary and shipped him off to live with his auntie. Now he is the sole heir to the Scabior moneyz because all the Chesters are dead.

Sweet Southern boy, grew up in the states. Basically the complete opposite of Chester. Poor boy is going to have a time dealing with all of Chester's shit, that he doesn't even know about.

Now that the beautiful Nicola has now graced you all with her presence, this is Cristina introducing her older sister, Mattie!

1975 Hufflepuff! Musician, who I've decided is decently popular in the London muggle scene x) She's strayed a bit from the magical world because of the war, but is slowly making her way back because she wants to spread her music out and most importantly she misses her bb sister ~~and Cristina still has Frozen feels and it's just like perfect to get it out and yes. doyouwanttobuildasnowman??~~

Quiet, artsy type. When into charm work at the ministry because her parents wanted her to after school aka got her a good job, but then the war hit too close to home and she said "You know what? I'm going to go do what I love doing!" So her relationship with her parents has been strained, which sucks because Mattie remembers when they didn't have money and wants that life back.

HELLO this is my new girl NICOLA SCARPIN!

1980 slytherin! Socialite as her family has lots of ca$h money from this and therefore lives as she wishes! Bought herself a nice spacious flat in London which she entertains endlessly at because 1. she spent a lot of time making it look perfect and likes showing off and 2. is dead set on making sure everyone knows she is a right and proper pureblood lady even though she really isn't one. whoops. Her family's new money may be able to afford her whatever she wants, but money can't buy reputation! Good thing she has a little bit of spunk in her and as decided 1985 is the year which she marries a pureblood wizard and solidifies her family's name in the right ranks!

Nicola is your typical slytherin princess, totally vicious and completely absorbed with social status, though I would say compassion is within her she has just buried it down deep over the years. I can't say that she would've been miss popular in school, but would have definitely tried very hard to assert her queen status in the year. Only paid attention to purebloods and worth halfbloods GOODIE SHE'S A REAL TREAT YOU'LL ALL LOVE HER!

Also as apart of her introduction to valesco she had a bit of a cameo in the new year's party thread. SINKING HER CLAWS INTO POOR SAD OLLIE, SHE COULD NOT HELP HERSELF. that development won't turn into anything dramatic at all!

Masks for the Masquerade will be provided at the door, so be sure to collect yours! A special surprise awaits you at midnight...

THAT'S RIGHT, THE KISSES ARE BACK, FOLKS!
• Last year was firecrackers, this year is masks. A half-mask will be provided to every character that walks through the doors (masks are mandatory!) but unbeknownst to anyone, they have an enchanted mate. At 11:55, five minutes to midnight, anyone wearing a paired mask will be strangely compelled to find (and kiss. With tongue.) their mate.

• PLEASE SIGN UP YOUR CHARACTERS HERE TO BE RANDOMLY MATCHED! By signing up, you acknowledge your character may kiss anyone from your best friend's wife, your roommate's boyfriend, that co-worker with corn in his teeth, people who may not regularly bathe, or your ex! Comments will be screened for form.

• The compulsion ends when the masks are removed, so how far your characters take the kiss is (mostly) up to you.

• Characters do not have to participate in the kisses, though it is strongly encouraged! Just have your character exit the premises before midnight and their mask will be collected. Please feel free to plot other things at the party!

HEY GUYS!

So, this is Kristin bringing in another fresh face. This is Flynn Wright, Hufflepuff '81. He's an artist who works for the Daily Prophet, producing a weekly comic strip to run in the paper. He also has a part time job working at Boogaloo, since he is a starving artist. He's basically a big kid for the most part, usually always looking like he's in a good mood, and I see him as having a lot of stupid inside jokes with people. He does have a serious side, in the sense that he's a workaholic and spends more time making sure his weekly submissions are perfect instead of sleeping, and can sometimes be found napping in the back room of the music store during his breaks...or when business is dreadfully slow. He has a very chill, almost Californian laid-back persona, and it takes a lot to get him pissed, but that's not to say it never happens. You cn see more about him here!

Helloooo everyone.

It's been long over due for me to have a character that is actually closer to 20 than to 30, so I present to you Miss Charlotte Irene Sweeting, Lottie to her close friends, everyone else is welcome to call her Charlotte, Tyvm. 1981 Gryffindor ~~because my ocd to make the directory even made me~~, she is nothing like my other Gryffindors at all. She is very prim and proper and if the opportunity arose for her to marry a prince and be a princess, she most certainly would not run away.

Currently she is in a love/hate relationship with her job at the WWN because all she really wants to do is be a Personality on her very own show about ~~nothing at all important~~ everything and anything she deems to be interesting, but instead she is just a lowly intern type errand runner/secretary. But one day she will catch the station managers attention and convince him that she is in fact the next big thing.

She speaks sass and sarcasm fluently, and an expert at reading books by their covers. She's not very good at pretending to be nice to people she doesn't like. It takes a while to really get to know her, but once she has decided that she likes you she is fiercely loyal and will find someone to throw under the knight bus in your stead.

um um um I can't think of anything else at the moment.

I think I just get jealous of everyone's new fresh faces and babies! But when my muse strikes it hits hard and who am I to stop it?

THIS is Jake Bexley (little bro to William the Falcon!). He's a 1980 Gryffindor (thanks to a popsicle flip via Alter!) and a muggleborn AUROR. Mostly does interrogating now! He was one of the last bunch to come into training while the war was in full swing. Very eager to get out of Hogwarts and help the cause. Wee lamb's first big mission was the earthquake that hit Diagon Alley so that was like WELCOME TO THE WORLD, KID!

At some point towards the end of the war when things were going crazy, Jake was put under the Cruciatus for a stupid amount of time and it's still got him...I guess all I can really say is tweaked lmao He hasn't had much social interaction since the end of the war and as I work on him more will come into development :D I think he's in and out of Mungo's because of his mental issues but we'll figure that out ;)

OKAY you know the drill wahooo!! Jake Abel face me gusta!! ~~But I couldn't delete Tomas' icons so it will be a slow transition lmaooo~~

So I have a problem.

Anyway, allow me to introduce to you my new boy: Orion Sinistra, son of Aurora Sinistra, the astronomy professor at Hogwarts. He's a '75 Gryffindor, and makes a living as a Dragon Trainer. He's a social butterfly in the sense that he'll talk to just about anyone, but he doesn't go out of his way for attention. He's a thrill seeker (if you haven't guessed by his occupation alone), and likes to have a good time. He does have a bit of a temper at times, but he's pretty easygoing for the most part. He tries to let the little things slide.

I suck at character introductions, but yes. I'm very excited about him.

HE NEEDS FRIENDS! Lettie, I'm thinking he would know Marissa and her family through his job, but definitely let me know if that works for you. But really, have at him.

Well, I usually make characters when my life is in turmoil, so I thought I would try one when I was happy! It only took me like eight months to finish her. WHEE!

So this is Melania Comstock, Ollie/rabbit's older sister. She is a 1975 Gryffindor, pure-blood, trust fund baby, and an artist. Until recently, she was living mostly in Florence, Italy and flitted between there and England since she left school in '75. A big showing brought her back home in the spring where she has been considering moving full-time, in part so she can be closer to bug her precious bb brother ♥ There is also some backstory where her parents were "mysteriously" killed very early in the war because they were funding Ministry/Dumbledore war efforts with their insane amount of money, so there's just a wee bit of tragedy.

There's more in her journal, but Melania is basically a wild, fun type. She has a very passionate personality and throws herself into everything she does with 110%. She NEEDS attention, cannot abide boredom and cooks up trouble more often than not because of it. She's very honest about her faults, but doesn't work real hard at trying to better herself -- she mostly accepts herself as she is and can be self-deprecating about it. She's friendly if you can get past an undoubtedly poor first impression.

She's excited to finally be able to play and I would love some plot for her!
