The small town of Oakfield holds nothing of interest in it. It has its local Wal-Mart, a tiny shopping centre, several restaurants, and everything else one might expect of a place located on a privately owned island. It's home to just over two hundred people, barely enough to be allowed to call it a town, and there's not an unfriendly soul in sight. So what is it that makes Oakfield so interesting that a group of select superpowered humans would be lured onto its island? As time progresses, one finds themselves noticing things that they hadn't before. Mrs. Ogawa, the old Japanese lady down the street, is always watering her flowers at precisely seven am. Rick the mail-man is never late, and he always delivers the same packages as he did the day before. Charlie the waiter seems to always be working the afternoon shift, while Jessica the hostess always seems mildly disgruntled that she has to work that particular evening. What's more, everyone will always tell you the same thing when you ask for the day of the week: Wednesday. Something is not right about little Oakfield, and it's been left up to the new residents to figure it out. The question is, if they do discover what's happening, will they be able to get out? __________ Whiteout is an original character private storyline roleplaying game set mostly around the X-Men universe.
