Checking in again. [Feb. 4th, 2008|10:54 am]

I've suddenly started watching crime drama, much to my surprise. Bones is EPIC WIN, and has Angel in, plus a guy with a bug degree and no sense of self-preservation. And every single character is brilliance on a stick. And, weirdly, in one episode, this one diver guy (without giving away the story) looked just like my version of David Berman. Srsly. It could even have been the same actor. Except every time the guy opened his mouth, he was so not-David that it gave me mental whiplash.

And I saw a couple episodes of Numb3rs, at last, which is pretty awesome. :D I swear that genius bloke purposely sets up situations just so's he can make a clever metaphor which will help Charlie make a breakthrough. It happened like three times in the same episode. xD

And on top of that, I now want to watch Wire in the Blood, whose freaking uncomfortable title always scared me off from further investigation. But apparently it's about police psychologists or something. And features people saying ominous things like "When you get into a criminal's mind, make sure it doesn't get into yours!". So. Anyone seen that? Is it good?

In other news, I want to remake my Norrington icon, but I can't find the screencap anywhere. It's from a deleted scene; I think the screencap site I got it from originally has died in the interim. And all the best sites seem to focus almost exclusively on Jack or Will. *sads*

OH OH OH AND AND AND. I have conditionals from Bath Spa, Hertfordshire and Colchester universities OHMYGOD. For various quantities and combinations of UCAS points. But OFFERS. OH MY YES. :D :D :D I LOVE THE WORLD.

...Reading any of my own entries from more than a year back is an exercise in embarrassment. Was I really that... young? O_o
