He still practices this magic although he is trying hard to research in his condition. Appearance: He's scruffy but handsome. His most prominent scar is the huge one across his chest. His most painful one though, is the scarred over gash left in his shoulder from when he was attacked as a boy. There is one other little scar above his left eyebrow. Personality: Oz is quiet, sweet, and charming. He is earthy and gruff at the same time. He has a soft side and few have tapped into that side of him. He could spend hours in the woods just sitting under a tree, listening to the world around him. He is not a big city boy he won't pretend that he is. He is always not fond of the fact that he was turned into a werewolf. He's a bit dark in humor and personality. Strengths: He's got tough skin, literally and figuratively. He can handle a lot of things and has always been a strong guy ever since he was young. He is very handy and whittles wood, something of a habit he picked up when he was younger and watching his mother weave dreams as he sat on the floor in her room. Weaknesses: He has to take quicksilver before the full moon. He tends to find the down side of things when situations get a bit mucky. He is impatient. Quirks: A lot of people think it's weird that he sniffs the air because they don't know he's a werewolf. He is also a very talented woodsman and connected to the animals and plants, he can touch the ground and know if there are any enemies or friends nearby and how far away they are. Secrets: 1. Werewolf 2. He doesn't want to go back to his mother's house because he is afraid of the nightmares that will haunt him if he does go back 43 He won't tell anyone where he received his scars from. All three distinct scars are from werewolves and the fights he's had with them. Biography: Oz was born to a mage and a weaver, Sebastian and Danica Myles. Danica and Sebastian had a very happy life with their young son until a terrible tragedy. At the age of ten Oz and Sebastian were attacked by a werewolf one night on their way home from a late night doing research in Salem. They lived on the outskirts of Salem at the time so they had to go through some sketchy territory to get home. Sebastian threw himself in the way of Oz to protect him from the attacking werewolf and was cut deeply across the chest and face. Oz used magic to throw off the wolf and grabbed his dying father. The wolf bounced back and grabbed Oz. He bit the boys shoulder, Oz reacted instinctively, and this time he was able to knock the wolf unconscious with his magic. Oz helped his father home after a long and painful trip, but after only a day Sebastian died of his wounds. Oz was permanently scarred, even after he was sent to healers, he still turned into a werewolf. He started taking quicksilver near the full moon to prevent full transformations. Oz continued attending Salem school with few people knowing that he really was a werewolf. The once happy and vibrant Danica became bitter and resentful, she began weaving nightmares instead of happy dreams. Her beauty and kindness faded day after day. Oz was then subject to cruel dreams. She moved herself and her son further away from people out to a more desolate place. Oz couldn't stand the idea that it was his fault this happened to his once happy mother and the nightmares were getting to him as well, so he moved to the school full time. There are a few number of people who do know that Oz is a werewolf, his good friend Evie Chanson included, who would never tell another person about it. There is only one thing that he is ashamed of, the fact that he transformed into a werewolf twice. Once when he was a young boy at his home and once when he was seventeen and away at school. He doesn’t know what he did and there were no reports of maimed victims, so he feels a little at ease with that. Over the years Oz has developed deep feelings for Evie, but he doesn't know if she feels anything back for him. He is too shy to bring it up and has very little experience when it comes to talking to girls. He was so worried about keeping his secret through his youth that he didn't have time to have little girlfriends. Oz finally came clean with Evie during Yule break and the two naturally progressed to the next step in their relationship. They were engaged and married during this past spring, they finished their studies, moved into their own home, and bought the shop Cap Ou Pas Cap.
