 Kyle was born Amber Kylie Delano on August 10th of 1984 in Reno, Nevada. It was a day that not only began the life of an unusual girl, but also tested the peculiar 'relationship' between her mother who was little more than a groupie and her father who was a well known guitarist for (band name here).
After a brief battle over who would gain custody of her, Kyle's mother agreed to sign over all parental rights and virtually handed over her barely two week old daughter to a man who lived over a hundred miles away in Toronto, Canada whom she'd only met once in her life.
Her father was the first person to start calling her Kyle as a pet name and a shortened version of her middle name. By her fifth birthday, she had become so adapted to the name that she refused to let herself be called anything but Kyle and often threw temper tantrums when anyone referred to her by her real first name, Amber.
She had a relatively normal childhood, aside from going on tour with her father until his band broke up on her 10th birthday, at which point her father dedicated all his time to her and took on teaching her to play the guitar. It was in overhearing her singing along to a Cyndi Lauper video that he realized her true talent was singing and began to pay for vocal lessons for her. Unlike most little girls her age, Kyle didn't play with Barbies or porcelain dolls, nor did she play house or collect anything typical; she played with GI Joe's, watched horror movies and Guns 'N' Roses videos instead of cartoons and started a collection of her father's old guitars.
Through school, Kyle was an outgoing girl with a lot of friends, but also, with a lot of problems. Popularity meant so much to her that she often threw weekend parties while her father was out of town; it was at one of those parties at the age of 14 that she took a drink and from that point began habitually stealing alcohol from her father's liquor cabinet. At the age of fifteen Kyle got her first boyfriend, a boy named _____ who lived just a few doors down from her who also happened to be 18. Her father didn't approve of the relationship at first, but ultimately, allowed it to please his only daughter.
Before the middle of that year, she was no longer a virgin and engaging in promiscuous (and sometimes group) sex and semi-frequent drug binges. Her father threatened to send her off to boarding school and that was around the time she began spending a lot of her time with ![[info]](https://www.scribbld.com/img/userinfo.gif) jaon, who was the older brother of one of Kyle's best friends.
Before her 16th birthday came around, Kyle and Jason had become more than friends and had actually started dating; this was around the same time that Kyle came into the notion of starting a band of her own and began to recruit for it, however, she'd find that her father approved of neither her new boyfriend or her future plans as word of her previous behavior got back to him and left him threatening to send her off to an all girl's boarding school.
By the time she had turned 17, her and Jason had already formulated a plan to leave home for someplace that they could 'make it' in the world, which happened to be LA. Nothing was ever going to fail in her mind, and her and Jason, well, they were going to be together forever. Life in LA at 17 wasn't easy for her and she was technically a runaway so there was little she could do to work legally, however, luckily for Kyle, she always looked older than she was and was able to land an off-the-books job as a waitress at a local diner to help make end's meet.
Fame didn't come right off the bat for the young girl, but she didn't have as much of a problem getting together band members in LA as she did back home. Kyle spent a lot of her nights at local dives scouting for talent to join what was quickly becoming one of her obsessions. It took the better part of the first few months that she was in California, but she was able to pull together a full band of people she'd recruited. Together, the four of them came up with the name Queen of Hearts due to Kyle's obsession with the story of Alice in Wonderland.
By late 2002, not only had Queen of Hearts been signed, but also, Jason's band The Number Juan; both of which took their first tours together.
Kyle actually refused to do a music video for their self-titled album because she was afraid that her father would track her down, so for the single releases, actors were hired to fill the parts of the band in their videos and in the album credits, Kyle was listed as Amber Rose, her real first name and the name of her favorite musician and longtime obsession.
At the age of 18, her name was legally changed from Amber Kylie Delano to Kyle Rose.
In late May of 2007, after one of their typical brawls over the last beer, Kyle and Jason separated and cut all forms of contact after a seven year relationship. When it had ended, Kyle gave strict orders to her manager to inform future interviewers not to ask any questions about him to her and threw away anything he left in the apartment, save for an old Queen of Hearts t-shirt she'd given him when their first merchandise had come out; she sleeps in it.
Currently lives with maddyin Seattle, Washington and to this day, is often described by interviewers and those who come into contact with her as wiry and friendly. She has no problems stopping to talk to people she doesn't know or making friends with random strangers.
Kyle's iPod playlist consists of mostly old school punk such as Social Distortion, Anti-Flag, MXPX, The Dropkick Murphys, The Dead Kennedys Agnostic Front and bands of that nature, though, she still admits to having a huge crush on Axl Rose and listens to old Guns 'N' Roses, she refuses to acknowledge the new vocal stylings or appearance of the man. Admittedly, her guilty pleasure music is Journey.
Her favorite sport is hockey and she's known to not only crazily obsess over the New Jersey Devils, but has also gotten into several fights at hockey games with fans of rivaling teams.
Considers herself a lesbian, but has dated and slept with men since her breakup with Jason, whose name she has tattooed on her hip inside a skull and crossbones. Only recently has she been discussing covering it with her best friend Maddy's name.
She is often inspired to randomly photograph people and her biggest quirks are the fact that she snorts when she laughs and crosses her fingers over when she's lying so that she doesn't feel guilty about doing so.
She once dedicated the song Ex-Girlfriend to Jason while drunk in concert. The moment was caught on tape and spread around the internet, but she still denies ever having done it.
After the stint in LA, the only alcoholic beverage she'll consume is Jack Daniels which she frequently refers to as her soulmate bringing to light the fact that she's definitely an alcoholic.
Admittedly, Kyle collects and adores Furbys. She has a name for every one of them in her possession.
