It is astounding how quickly a year can pass. Edmund is walking, and our daughter is due in just over two months. I've gone from dealing with loads of parchment to loads of diapers. ~~That will make me appear more human to the public, I am sure--Politics-~~

Professor Slughorn's retirement announcement also makes me think of how quickly time goes by and how swiftly times change. I'm sure many of my colleagues, family, and friends can feel the same?

In light of the infuriatingly annoying upsetting news that has hit our community, my family does have plenty to celebrate. The impending nuptials of the Grayson and the lovely Ophelia, Juliana's child will be joining us soon, my nephew--Gabriel, playing the hero in the Daily Prophet attacks ~~I had told him to come over for tea but that boy never--~~, it's only right that Daniella and I add our own happy news.
