Detailed Description: Seth is quite a small boy. His brothers call him weedy because he is so much shorter than them, but at 5'11 he's not that short at all.. He is skinny with not much muscle tone and has a pale complexion (from being inside most of the time). His eyes are blue and his hair is dark. Usually his hair is well styled and he has been known to spend a lot of time achieving the 'just got out of bed' look. Seth has a scar on his cheek from an accident with one of his brothers and he is highly self conscious about it. Sometimes he wears glasses but he doesn't like to as he thinks it emphasises his large nose. He likes to take an interest in his appearance though he is quite conservative, sticking to neutral colours and styles. He likes to stay on top of fashion and thinks he’s pretty stylish, taking influence from indie bands that wear peacoats and skinny jeans.

Personality
Likes: Knowing all the answers, when girls bra straps fall off their shoulders a little bit, baseball, the nerdy/ technical side of music, Joy Division, Velvet Underground, synthesizers, dirty underground clubs, playing on stage, moleskin notepads, his band.
Dislikes: Not knowing the answers to the universe, his brothers, his parents, computer lag, people who say they like “all” music, girls that giggle too much, Axl Rose, “unintelligent” pop (Ke$ha, Katy Perry, etc)
Quirks: - Always moving, whether he's jigging his knee or running around aimlessly. He has a problem sitting still.

Secrets: - He's a computer whizz and really good at hacking into stuff. He's been secretly trying to hack into the FBI database for two years trying to find evidence of alien life. It’s an obsession that he tries to hide because he thinks it’s childish and geeky, but it’s something that has fascinated him since he was a kid. He’s arrogant enough to be reckless and not think he will ever get caught.
- Prescribed Ritalin to help him concentrate in class but he also takes it to help him focus on writing music or anything else that takes his fancy.
- Has devised his own code to write in so that his roomie or brothers can't read anything if they go snooping..
- There is a video on YouTube of Seth speaking in Klingon. His brothers posted it last summer and he's been trying to get it taken down since. Currently it has 5,000 views.
- He thinks WALL-E is the best and most accurate film to come out EVER.
- Thinks Ripley from Alien is the biggest babe of all time.
What’s in your characters pockets? A USB stick, random scraps of paper with lyrics on (in his own code), his wand, car keys, cigarettes, ritalin and kindle.
Strengths: Very very fast and agile (from years of running away from his brothers), can easily remember facts and figures, languages and anything else that involves memory, can pick up instruments fairly easily.
Weaknesses: A terrible liar, slightly neurotic, intolerant of people to the point of not really giving them a chance, a massive music snob (so massive in fact that he refuses to be part of the school band or go to music lessons).
Strongest subject in school: Wandless Magic
Weakest subject in school: Divination
One thing he/she can't live without: Seth is highly dependant on his Ritalin to function properly.

Detailed personality: Unlike most musicians who are free spirited and in touch with their feelings, Seth is more closed off and guarded. He is a massive music geek and obsessed with the technical side of creating it, much like the rest of his life too. He sees things in a logical and unemotional way which can sometimes offend other people. He is an eternal pessimist.

Seth has scrapbooks of alien sightings, he can recite all of Jupiter's moons off by heart and point out constellations without a telescope. This is stuff that he works at, he gets a kick out of knowing stuff that could be deemed impressive which is slightly arrogant of him. Seth and his brothers were home schooled by their mother and only having his four older and fearsome brothers as companions probably goes some way to explaining his closed off nature and suspiciousness.

Overall he is a unremarkable, normal boy. He likes to smoke as it gives him something to do with his hands and he likes to drink but only at parties. He's something of a 'don' on the internet when it comes to hacking, but he uses an alias and it's totally top secret.

Personal History:
By the time Seth was born, Cathy and William were totally over having kids. They already had their hands full with four other boys but being strict Catholics had a downside and that was unprotected sex. Seth was born in Iowa to an Insurance seller father and a stay at home mom and the bane of his life, four older Jock brothers. From the moment he could play with his toys it was obvious that Seth was different. He was quiet and preferred playing by himself than with his siblings, leading him to be teased by them. Not a day went by without a plethora of pinches, dead arms and tied shoelaces. By the time Seth was six he was a nervous wreck, and didn't even have escape of school as being the only wizarding family in the neighbourhood, Seth and his brothers were homeschooled.

The move to Cresent City was respite to Seth. All of his brothers had gone to Denver but he had begged to go somewhere else, stating that Cresent City had the best library in the country and it would be much better if he went there. It worked and Seth had blissful days of staying bruise free. He was sorted into LaLaurie and began deveoping his hobbies and interests. One of those interests was music. At home Seth and only heard hymns or the radio, but stumbling on a video if Joy Division on the internet sparked a massive interest in him, by the end of freshman year Seth had quite a record collection, studied all manner on instruments and started a band. Routine is very important to Seth, and through sophomore up until today he always wakes up to Joy Division, eats his lunch to Velvet Underground and goes to sleep with Lou Reed.

In sophomore year Seth began dating, a relationship that lasted for a year. It was a pretty big deal and he was convinced they would be married, but there was one problem and that was Seth’s commitment to his music and his band. The band always came first and finally his girlfriend moved on. By the start of junior year Seth was helping do the sound for bands in underground clubs, in his element amongst the amps and wires. He was also frequenting open mic nights, sneaking out after curfew with an acoustic guitar and playing to people who don’t really listen. Even so it made him more happy than anything else to just spill his feelings.

Nowadays, Seth fancies himself as the next Bob Dylan. He is still playing in clubs and tries to keep up with his studies, though his grades are dropping slightly with the bigger workload and late nights. Although it is annoying not to be the best at everything, Seth feels his music is much more important than some silly grades.
