1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Spiced apple cider
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Mom was never big on Santa. There was only ever one present, really, always from her.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No.
5. When do you put your decorations up? We didn't usually have decorations. Small apartment, no money, and the little plastic tree came pre-decorated, but Mom always put the same star on it.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Te diner down the street had Christmas dinner, turkey, mashed potatoes and a piece of pie. Ok, so it was a repeat of their Thanksgiving special, but I liked it.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Going out for the walk with Mom to look at Christmas lights.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? Santa was never really a factor at home.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No. There weren't really enough gifts for that, but I always got my library card renewed and I always got at least one new book.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? We had a tiny little plastic tree that we pulled out every year. But Mom did take its cheesy little angel off and put on a really pretty silver star instead, so we put the star on it every year.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? I love snow!
12. Can you ice skate? Yes.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? No one specific one. I just loved the tradition every year. I got used books a lot during the year, but every Christmas I'd get a brand new, never before read, hardbound edition of something or other.
14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? It used to be family, even if it was just me and Mom against the world. Now, without that, its trying so hard to do the perfect thing for Cait.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Apple pie.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I can't really do my favorites anymore, the Christmas walk, the silver star, and so on. So my favorite new one is watching Cait get her present.
17. What tops your tree? Whatever the Titans put there. I'm tempted to create a silver star if they don't have a specific tradition.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Giving!
19. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum? Yum
20. Favorite Christmas Show? Christmas lights.
21. Saddest Christmas Song? I'll Be Home for Christmas. Not being able to go home really drives that one in.
22. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Mom used to sing this lovely winter song from her homeworld. I don't think it would mean much to anyone here, and otherwise, she never said much about where she came from before becoming Star Sapphire, but she loved that song.
