I had a really nice day. [info]doombuggie took me out for a birthday lunch and awesome iced coffee after, and we chatted and enjoyed our meal. Schwans showed up not long after I got home, and the mail brought a bottle of Te Po and a pack of Conjure Oils samples! Which, by the way, had a good like to don't like ratio. I'd say they do good fruity scents. La Pera is yummy!

Then I finally met [info]jennywho in the flesh and we had a lovely evening. I introduced her to the flagship Whole Foods and we got stuff for nomming (shrimp burgers! chips and guacamole! mini-cannolis! an unfortunate choice of soda!) and groceries. I made her sniff all sorts of BPAL, and some Possets, Arcana, and Possets too. I fobbed off an enably bit of impage to make up for the olfactory overload :)

I don't think I've been this sociable since my RHPS days and I really liked it.

Oh! Austin guys! Any of you whom I haven't already invited want to come with me when I get my cutting on Monday afternoon? [info]jennywho is coming but more company is welcome. There will be Hut's before and Amy's after.

One of the things I bought at Whold Foods last night was Brazos Supreme ice cream. I picked it because it was lavender flavored. It turned out to be made with goat's milk. Since I love trying unusual things, I gave it a shot.

I just now tried it. Damn. It may be the richest ice cream I've ever had. Tasty, too. I doubt I'll get it again, though, it was very pricey.

So, I got birthday monies from the family. Yay! Once it got dark and cool I headed to 6th & Congress, because the ATM there always has deposit envelopes.

They lock it up at night now. What the actual fuck?

But I did get a roll of quarters from CVS for parking meters if need be on Monday, so it's not totally wasted. I guess I'll just have to deposit them then, it's near Industrial Primitives anyway.

Feeling a bit ill, I should lie down...
