& bianca francesca stratferd was born on october 23, 1991. her parents, william and lisabeth, had been completely shocked to find out that lisabeth was pregnant. they had been "trying" for years with no luck, which william had seen as a good thing. his career had just been taking off and was doing great, not to mention he had been made partner at his firm. on the other hand, lisabeth couldn't be more thrilled with the news of motherhood. it had been all she wished for since she and william had gotten married. six months into her pregnancy, she took maternity leave from her job as a psychiatrist. it was only twelve hours after little bianca was born that lisabeth decided she would not return to work again; at least not for a long while.

& growing up in san francisco was like a dream for little bianca. she and her mother would take shopping trips in the most expensive parts of town, spend days on end at the beach, and roam around the rolling hills of the city. they found something new and exciting each and every day. life was bliss and unlike most children, bianca never wanted to grow up. she watched her father work day in and day out. he'd leave at seven a.m. for work and return at six o'clock, only to head into his office and work until midnight. it was a fate bianca was not interested in facing and one she was definitely planning to postpone as long as possible.

& it was three weeks after bianca's tenth birthday that they moved to salt lake city. like the spoiled princess she was, bianca threw a horrendous fit. she went mad on her parents and refused to speak to them the entire ride to their new home. it took five days for her parents to even get a peep out of her, and when they did it was an 'i hate you!' she was a wicked one but eventually she got over the move. her father had been given a better job offering, not that it mattered to her at the time, and they preferred this school system to the one bianca had previously been involved in. grumpily, she made her way to and from school each day. of course, after a few weeks her anger over the move subsided and she began making friends as any fifth grader may. surprisingly enough, she grew to love salt lake.

& some psychologist might say her anger started here, when she and her family moved to salt lake city. others would bet their money on the anxiety of her much absent father. moving to salt lake only took him further away from her. day in and day out he was jet-setting around the country; to new york, down to miami, back over to los angeles. a brief, two day stop home and he was off again. time is money, they say, so maybe that's why the stratferd's were so well off. after all, the entirety of her father's time was spent on this ridiculous business that he was involved in. however, despite the lack of a father figure in bianca's life, it really took a toll on bianca's mother.

& raising a child primarily alone was no easy feat, but that still did not change lisabeth's love for her glowing daughter. if anything, it hindered her relationship with her husband. suspicions were always up and the longer he was away, the higher lisabeth's walls built against him. at the time, bianca didn't notice a thing. she was too young and her mother hid it well enough that there was no reason that it should be detected. it was when bianca was sixteen, though, that the truth reared it's ugly head. her father was home for the weekend and it was sunday evening after dinner that bianca heard their screaming. horrible screaming, really. she had never witnessed her parents give each other much more than a look, let alone raised voices. after her father left on a trip the next morning is when she saw her mother crying, and was confided in by lisabeth. her father had been having an affair. no, i'm sorry. not an affair. a double life. kids, a dog, a white picket fence in a nice town in northern virginia. isn't that sweet.

& immediately following the unleashing of this deathly secret, bianca's mother immediately served her father with divorce papers. lucky for her, infidelity cut off any and all prenuptial agreements. she got 78% of his of his assets, including the house in salt lake, a condo in san francisco and a loft in new york. things seemed dim for a few years following, but they are looking up as of late. recently, bianca and her best friend, [info]halsey have come to find that their parents are engaged. the girls, obviously, could not be more thrilled. they always acted like sisters but now? well, now they could actually be sisters.

& [info]reids, [info]halsey, [info]cristal, and [info]jay had always been close friends. Well, Reid was initiated into the group not long after he came into the exchange program over here, but it didn't take him very long at all to become associated with the group. The five seemed to stake their claim on the hallways like it was nothing. They all had a bit of a bad habit of speaking their minds in the worst way possible. Sure, it wasn't nice to make fun of the loser kids but what else were you supposed to do during fourth block? Learn? Right. The most disturbing part of the whole scenario, though? They throughly enjoy their claim to fame.

& Bianca's not really a bitch. Okay, well... she is. But she's a bitch in the worst kind of way. She's nice and friendly but when you start to tick her off, you'll be able to tell immediately. She's a bitch in the way that she uses that horribly sarcastic, irritatingly frustrating "nice" tone in a whole new bitchy dimension. She'll make you feel like a dumbass even if you're a genius and it's nothing off her back to be told on. The one and only thing she thanks her father for? Well, aside from his money; the ability to talk her way out of a paper bag. Daddy dearest may be one of the top defense attorney's in the country, but his daughter can manipulate her way out of iron clad cuffs. Thanks, pops.

& Bianca had never really been that interested in school. She was always talented at it, but never interested - especially when it came to her high school years. She skated through like any other slacker would. Slept during classes, did her homework at three a.m, the usual. And yet, despite her obvious disinterest, getting good grades came easy to the blonde. No one ever understood how she did it, least of all her teachers but of course, her parents always pushed her to do better. Unfortunately for them, Bianca was too busy being her own person to listen to reason.

& Now that she's being forced to take a look at her college situation and decide where she wants to go and what exactly it is that she wants to do, Bianca isn't at all sure. Her mother wants her to go into psychiatry, her father wants her to become a lawyer. The more Bianca thinks about it, all she really wants to do is just take a year off and travel. Italy, Paris, Tokyo, Australia... the options are endless. The only issue is convincing her parents it's the right thing to do. Now that is a battle far from being won anytime soon.

& For the time being, she's just enjoying herself like any other teenage kid. Partying, drinking, and occasionally dabbling in a bit of marijuana from time to time. In case you're curious, tequila is her drink of choice. Shots are the way she takes it and she's constantly trying to sway others to the dark-side of alcohol. Hey, what can she say? It's the easiest, most fun way to start and end your night. Jose Cuervo!

& Of course, aside from her partying her most usual activities include dance team (FIRECRACKERS, BABY!), shopping, and swimming. There are miscellaneous other things in there, too, like yearbook and student council but those are horribly lame to talk about so I think we'll just spare everyone the headache. As of current, though, her most avid project would be a fabulous birthday party. Destination is still unknown, but the outcome is bound to be lavish and over the top.
