A Day at the Office (AU With Vernique) [13 Nov 2011|10:56pm]
Eli has been working at the office all day, literally. He doesn't need to sleep, so when everyone goes home, he's still there working on designs, drawings and putting things together for the next Nevell board review.

After he finishes enough material for three new clothing lines, he calls Someone Special to see if she's busy tonight.

A Day at the Office (AU With Vernique) [13 Nov 2011|10:24pm]
(This reality occurs due to Eli not ending up with Luna)

Eli is at the fashion house during the late evening, as always, because he does not need to sleep like his models, his clients, his employers and most of the known world. Rather than go home and try to occupy himself with other things to do for the next eighteen hours until everyone returns, Eli decides to impress both the Nevell board and everyone else by coming in with a myriad of designs.

He works into the early night, long after everyone has gone home, drawing, stitching, matching colors and redrawing until he has three new lines put together.

Now that he thinks of it, he could use another set of eyes to look at this, so he picks up his phone and makes a call.

Meme Time! [05 May 2011|08:24pm]
List one of your characters, and one of mine, and pick either:

1)Friendship
2)Their first date.
3)Future.
4)Their first time.
5)AU/Possible children(please pick either or as I won't do both)

And I'll list 5 facts about any of them.

Pick Two [27 Oct 2010|09:06pm]
For this meme, choose one character of yours and one character of mine-- and then I will write out how they hook up, settle into a long term relationship and/or marriage, and describe their firstborn child/children, if any. Crack pairings and old characters are acceptable.

Where and when did you start rping? I started with tabletop Werewolf: The Apocalypse in 2001 at a (now-defunct) comic store. Online, I started on Infinity Bound in 2008, I think.

Do you prefer first-person comment spam or prose logging? A bit of both.

What was the first character you ever played? Tabletop: Irish Werewolf. Online: Mutant magnetist-telepath.

Who's your favorite character to play now, and why? This is a hard question, but it's a three-way tie between Nightwing, Batman, and John Stewart. I've played all three characters elsewhere.

What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character? I've played Batman and Nigthwing for nearly two years, so they'd be the longest online characters I've played. I still play every character I've ever made in some fashion, somewhere.

What's your biggest rp pet peeve? Probably people who don't bother to learn about the character they're playing.

Do you read rp secrets and the anon meme? I...don't know what these are.

If you've played in public before, do you prefer community or journal based games? I like them both. I'm still getting to know Scribbld/LJ, but they are a lot different than what I thought they'd be.

Would you rather play with someone who's very very ic but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always ic (but not terrible) and a great writer?

As long as the other play is at least /trying/ to play their character, I'm happy to play with them, so either of these is okay.

Do you have an "rp partner"? I play with lots of people often, so I'd say yes...and no.

Do you ever stalk any casts, games, or players? No. I do try to keep up with what other people are doing when I can, though.

In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying? The sample post, hands down. Getting into a character's head for the first time is tough.

Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo? Yes, I must. It doesn't feel like I am playing the character until I do, but I don't go overboard with it.

What was your first game? Werewolf: The Apocalypse

Are there any canons you avoid tagging characters from? Anime and Star Wars.

Most memorable scene in any thread? I haven't been here long, so I'll let you know when it happens!

Do you rp sex? It depends on the other person. If they're okay with it, yes. If not, no.

Do you play more males than females? I don't really play females, ever. I haven't been happy with the results on the few occasions I've tried.

What won't you rp? I haven't found anything I won't play yet.

Dressing rooms? Not sure

Ever rped a pairing? Yes.

Favorite place to play: musebox, open posts, public games, private games? Public or price is good with me.

Talking rp with someone else who plays your character: fun or awkward?

It depends. I like seeing different takes on my favorite characters, but it gets weird if I feel like they're missing something. I just keep that in mind for my own portrayals, though.

[ mood | amused ]

Eliosha Paravich sits in the cafĂ© quietly, watching the people mill about. A woman orders an insane complicated espresso mix that will likely take several years off her life and make her already foul temper more so. Several teenagers at the back of the line seem preoccupied with their cellular phones (he’s still not certain how it is that humans don’t have telepathy; it’s easy for him) and something called “texting”.

He shakes his head and takes a sip of the fourth drink he’s ordered this hour. The first three are still mostly full, the results of his decision that he can’t stand them. He looks down at the newspaper, reading the news of the day, but his eyes on only half on the paper. In his mind’s eye, he’s looking down on the world from the Great Wall of China, even as he’s snowboarding down the slopes in Aspen and climbing Mount Everest.

Looking through the paper, he finds himself intrigued by the stories of other beings with powers that reside on this planet. Men of iron and flesh, creatures considered demons in most religions and his own people walked the world, helping or harming humans as they choose. The Deviants moved among these as well, keeping themselves out of the sight of their Eternal cousins, lest they be removed like any other cancer.

“Sir, are you finished?” the barista asks as he reads. For a moment, Eli doesn’t even notice her. He often becomes engrossed in something once he begins to read it not to mention splitting his focus between activites, and it takes her speaking to him again for his head to rise.

“Oh, I am fine. Thank you.” he says accented English. The barista smiles and is about to move on when Eli speaks. “Excuse me. These…people.” he points down at a picture of Iron Man. “How do I find one?”

The barista gives him an odd look. “I don’t know, really. Go to New York and get mugged. Good chance you’ll find one waiting around to help you. They do that sort of thing there, yet there’s more crime there than any other city in America. Go fig.” she says.

“Go fig.” Eli repeats, smiling as he tries to wrap his head around human language. He takes another sip of his vanilla frappucino and considers letting the manager here know that these drinks need more vodka.

Just one more thing to see to when he builds his own kingdom, someday.
