• Brooklynn Lily-Rose Cadence Mitraszek was born to Savannah Foster and Thomas Mitrazsek on October 27, 2014 in St. Louis, Missouri, but moved to Valparaiso, Indiana shortly after birth. She has a twin brother named James and an older sister named Malachie.
• She hates her full name, finding it way too long and cluttered. She goes by Cadie and will not respond to Brooklynn, but is quick to accept other nicknames, as well.
• She is the rebellious, rambunctious, and obnoxious one of the family. Mal is the quintessential good girl, and even James is relatively calm, but Cadie would go out and party with some of her friends, although she rarely touches alcohol and never uses drugs.
• Since she was born after the start of World War III, Cadie was born with radiation effects, as was her brother James. Her mother died of birth complications as well as radiation poisoning.
• Her sister, Malachie, was unaffected by radiation, even though she was already born before the war started. She is still a civilian, but now she has two younger siblings that have special abilities, something of which she is simultaneously proud and jealous.
• It seems contradictory to her powers, but Cadie works at a floral shop. Her father is always worried that she'll burn the place down, but there hasn't been an accident since she started working there.
• Cadie's ability quite matches her personality; fiery and bold, something also reflected in her hair. At first, her control over fire was, at best, limited, but she has gotten better at it. She recently discovered that she has telepathic powers, an ability that she finds both fascinating and frightening.
• Her brother James has powers that could technically cancel out Cadie's.
• Cadie is sometimes too abrasive for some people to accept, but if she befriends someone, she will be fiercely loyal to them no matter what.
• The Mitraszek children were raised with extremely high morals, and Cadie is expected to uphold these morals. She is used to responsibility, and although she is technically the youngest in the family, she's a natural-born leader.
• Cadie has a very distinct sense of humor, ranging from dry to cutting to vulgar and back in the same moment. She's rather fond of dirty jokes.
• In general, Cadie is hot-headed, opinionated, and outspoken. It's the typical personality of redheads, and Cadie is no exception. She tends to get into arguments with a lot of people and usually wins. Unfortunately, she can't help but voice her opinions, even if they cause lots of controversy, but she is learning to hold her tongue. She's particularly spontaneous and eccentric, as well.
• Having taken voice lessons since she was 9, Cadie has a very flexible voice. She is usually placed as a soprano, but her voice has a range of about 4 octaves, allowing her to flip between practically any voice part.
• Although she is generally very grounded and down-to-earth, sometimes Cadie has her head in the clouds, daydreaming and doodling in the margin of her notes.
• Cadie is very high-energy, sometimes making her seem as though she was a hyper 10-year-old rather than a 17-year-old. She loves being completely random, and doesn't expect anyone to understand her bizarre comments. It usually makes for lots of laughs, but Cadie isn't looking to be a class clown: she just wants to have fun.
• Cadie has an absolute love of Disney movies and swears she could be Ariel.
• It was not unlike Cadie to find herself jumping from the tops of cars with an umbrella, pretending she was Mary Poppins, or jumping from the roof of her house with a cape, swearing that she was superman. As a result, Cadie has broken her left arm three times, her right arm once, and her ankle five times. This made it seem as though Cadie was accident-prone, which although the fact is not entirely untrue, she usually does these sort of stunts purposefully.
• The Mitraszek family is relatively well-off, and although Cadie is probably the most materialistic of her siblings, she is by no means spoiled. She generally dislikes anyone who is spoiled rotten, and so she does her best to avoid falling into that stereotype herself.
• Although she's every inch a girly-girl, Cadie doesn't have the typical fears of insects or heights or snakes, and if you were to ask her, she would say she's practically fearless. She'll roll her eyes at girls who go around gossiping about who's dating who and carrying their little Prada bags, and make a statement by going to homecoming wearing a dress... along with leggings and Converse shoes.
• She has a pet ferret named Sorrel, and she really wants to get at least two more. Although they steal anything and everything, Cadie loves them with all her heart and would probably cry for days if one of them passed away.
