I know I'm not old, but I don't like feeling like I'm getting older. I sort of miss the days of being small without worries. I sort of miss the days when I really looked forward to birthdays. I still do. It's just different somehow. But I get to go to Disney World, which sounds extremely exciting! There are loads of perks to this getting older thing. Falling in love. Getting married. Having a job. Having a house. Having a family. Going on family holidays. Going to weddings and being allowed to drink at the reception.

Another thing Eddie has discovered? ~~His dad is incredibly si~~ The meaning of the word Disney, or at least what it implies.

Someone has also been teaching him to get his nice clothes dirty.

Things Eddie has discovered:
- Dad makes a loud ow noise when you hit him in the eye with a spoon.
- The crib can no longer hold a climber
- Hopping down the stairs is fun, and takes forever
- morning naps are no longer cool
- tuxedo fittings are fun when dad is not having any

Things Macon has discovered:
- hitting hurts
- No is the worst word in the language (and can be shouted at many different octaves)
- There's a reason they call them toddlers and its really cute to watch him hop

Paris is a lovely city! ~~If a little~~ ~~I was trying to sneakily look at flats just in ca~~ It definitely deserves being called The City of Lights. And the museums! I really hope to go back there, possibly during spring time.

[Warded to Megan and Noah] I would like to take Noël away for a weekend in February - obviously it can't be the weekend after since that's a Hogwarts weekend in town, but we've been talking about a non-Eddie weekend.

Normally, I suppose one would go to the grandparents for this kind of favor, but they're being weird about babysitting still, so I was wondering if one, or both of you would like to take Eddie for a few days? Split the time up maybe. I was thinking the morning of the 7th about 10 to mid-afternoon on the 12th?

Noël doesn't know about it yet, so I'd appreciate the secrecy. ~~Also, we've never left him overnight anywhere without one of us so~~
