So, I still haven't mentioned in here the drama going down at the PPC Board, have I? Well... oh well. It's over now, I think. Basically, someone posted as "Anonymous" saying that Union-Jack2.0 was dead, and then UJ posted and said no he wasn't, and SergeantHeretic (with whom UJ had been very loudly and high-ratedly snogging on the Board for a while) posted a lot of threads saying how horrible it was and yelling at the person who did it. But a lot of people think that UJ was Anonymous, especially as SH trolled the board not long ago and pretended someone else had been posting under her name until she finally admitted it'd been her. Plus UJ's and Anonymous' IP addresses match. So UJ seems to have kind of disappeared, and SH is bowing out after one angry "smell you later" kind of post and then another one apologising and leaving in good grace.
*deep breath*
Now oldbies are popping out from all over the place (yay! Though scarily, I recognise them all... maybe I'm older than I think O.o) and Saphie (yes, that Saphie! ^_^) stated the case for moving the Board to Livejournal: better security, fewer ads, threads that aren't bumped off the board, current Board's mod has gone AWOL... and also, we're probably going to be taking the focus off missions and shift more towards sharing fandoms, general geekery, and following hS's footsteps in making all other kinds of spinoffs after the fashion of The Reorganisation, the Playscripts and the Boardgames, to name but a few.
Oh, and remember the Boarder spoof slashfic from a while back? hS/Kaitlyn? Well, there's another one now! And it includes the Flowers, and everyone and everything from Makes-Things to Bleepka and the Character Analysis Device! O.o I'm doing Me/Scorpia/Brittany/Bladderwrack... oh, dear. And I'll post it here in a minute.
So it's been a busy few days... big changes are heralded! |
