Ate breakfast and lunch today. Although this worthy deed was undone somewhat by the fact that I ate them in the wrong order. And that some of my lunch-coconut (Eee, coconut. Milky, sweet and crunchy, all in one food. Does it get any better? :D) was sacrificed to the noble cause of getting the world's most bigass swan out of the middle of the road. (Or, at least, attempting to; it took a group of boys running at it to convince it far enough onto the kerb that the traffic could actually start moving again. Swans are beautiful birds, but they aren't half stubborn.)
Also, my art teacher is the daughter of a silly person, whose mother and father were hamsters and suspiciously elderberry-smelling respectively. I went into her classroom to ask if I could take my final pieces from last year home, and what should I spy there but the folder full of life drawings by me and my friend, which should have been marked along with our exam pieces? (God only knows how it got on the corner windowsill. O_o) Apparently we should have let our teacher know that it was part of our portfolios. Because telling her in person, devoting two pages of my sketchbook to the life-drawings in there, and keeping the folder with my friend's art pieces is clearly a subpar effort. So she had a go at me, because now she's going to have to remark.
But.
Hoi sin duck wraps for breakfast. Mmm. |
