Fall of a Nation [28 Apr 2011|12:55am]
Gene Nation is recruiting more mutants than ever before with a public smear campaign against groups like the X-Men, Champions, Excalibur, and more importantly, X-Factor.  They paint lies about X-Factor to turn public favor away from them (such examples would be saying DJ and Pauline are hypnotizing humans into becoming pro-mutant with an abuse of powers they don't actually have, or that Harry is secretly infecting humans with a disease that will force a mutation in humans).  X-Factor calls a press conference to deny the allegations, and are attacked on stage by a militia of Gene Nation.

The battle ends with the Gene Nation retreating, but not without hostages (which can include, hopefully, one or two members of X-Factor).  The members of X-Factor regroup and pursue the Gene Nation.  They will have to gather some street level heroes or possibly another X-team to accompany them to rescue the hostages.  The battle in the sewers causes a massive cave-in, and the battle spills out onto the surface.  It's a huge fight with a lot of injury on both sides.  There are casualties among the hostages, innocent bystanders, and the Gene Nation itself.  Some heroes can die, if the players choose to do so in the plot (but they are not suggested to, since this is supposed to be a Good Guys Win plot).

When the battle ends, most of the Gene Nation is either dead or under arrest.  The top dogs are still at large, and secretly hiding in one of Jason's hideouts.  They won't be found for quite awhile.

Updates on Jason [08 Jan 2011|10:13pm]
Jason's psychokinesis is an umbrella mutation, allowing him a small assortment of psychokinetic abilities.

He can use telekinesis to lift up to forty tons at maximum with a degree of effort.  His strength lies in how perfectly refined his control is, to where Jason can manipulate matter at a molecular level, with a larger degree of effort.

He can transmute matter up to twenty pounds in weight.  His ability to transmute matter is limited to inanimate objects, as Jason has never been capable of turning a living being into something else.

He can produce thoughtform projections of small to medium sizes (fully-grown adult male being the medium example).  The longest thoughtform projection Jason has created lasted two full days; 48 hours.

------------------------------------------------------

Jason's history is being modified so that he never made a deal with Satannish and gave up his soul.
