BRADEN COLBRIDGE

The first time Braden Colbridge stepped into a nightclub, it was the famous gay club of Louisana, Jules. Braden is open about his sexuality, but would not say unless he was asked. Hardly anyone asked him since he does more 'straight' things as in scratch his balls in public, didn't care if his clothes coordinated, and had a pitbull rather than shopping, gossip, or carry around a small chihuahua. The typical stereotype of a flamboyant gay male irritated him. But he was confident in his sexuality; he would acknowledge his sexuality when called out as if he was telling the world that he fucked women. As he has been twenty four years gay, he works late nights at Jules as a bouncer. There is nothing easier than letting people walk by or telling them to get the fuck out. Despite his hard persona at the nightclub, if you catch him at his other job, he's quite the nice guy. Laid back to the extreme and very polite, but once you piss him off, you are on his shitlist forever unless you give one hell of an apology, sexual or not.

During the day, starting at 8 o'clock in the morning, Braden is already hitting the gym working with his clients. Most of them are males for the obvious reasons of the gay community. It is hard to work out at a straight club, secretly eyeing a hot, buff guy who could easily beat you to the floor with his bulging muscles for even giving him a quick glance. At the gym he works at, looks are encouraged because it gets the juices going, pun intended. The fact that Braden can end up leaving the club in the early morning, roll home, get a few hours of sleep, then proceed to work all day the next is hard, but he has gotten used to it. To him, it's a daily routine. He has trained himself to run on short number of hours of sleep to get him by for the day. It is very rare that you will hear Braden ever say he is tired.

Outside of his two jobs and private life, Braden avidly enjoys time with his family. His parents are extremely supportive over his homosexuality and treat him as if he was a normal man. To Braden, that means the world to him. His father will openly walk into the gay gym to join his son on workouts, go out for dinner, and even send Braden money because 'he wanted to.' On the other hand, his mother will try to get him to tag along for long days of shopping, which he absolutely dreads, but his mother tries to buy him nice things for his apartment. She doesn't want his apartment looking too grungy or bachelor-esque. She will call him everyday on his cell phone at 6 o'clock wondering if Braden needed dinner for the night. Usually, he will say no but sometimes he cannot resist that homemade meal. Braden's parents take him through the rough times and come along for the ride. They are his rock and his foundation for life.

Ever since Braden started working at Jules and the gym, he has found many men that needed satisfaction along with himself. Flings, one night stands, or whatever you want to call them are something he is not opposed to...by any means. In fact, he probably encourages them. But sometimes, he would rather sit down and go have dinner with an enticing conversation rather than meaningless sex. As macho or manly as people define him as, he has a romantic side to him. He won't ever display it in public, but he will show his soft side behind closed doors. The 'L' word is something he has yet to throw around because every guy seems to be in it for the sex. Braden tries to balance his sexual needs with regular dating, but somehow it all turns up to be is a one night stand. Just another notch on the headpost.
