Abilities:
1) Incredible gymnastic skills from years of being an Olympic bound athlete.
2) Able to shift his atoms apart to the point of either being invisible or moving through solid objects.
3) Heaping amounts of teen angst.

Weaknesses and flaws:
1) He's incredibly insecure which causes issues with his powers. They thrive when he's emotionally stable and go a little haywire when he's not on the level.
2) He wears his heart on his sleeve. It's far to easy for him to feel for the wrong person or to get emotionally attached to someone who may be dangerous for him to care for.
3) He feels the need to constantly prove that he's capable and in control because of said flaws above and it usually ends up with him over his head.

Backstory:
Casey is the son of Selina Kyle and a man she had a one night stand with on a job in Paris. After having him, she gave him up to a good family that could give her beautiful baby boy a normal life. All she ever wanted for him was to grow up and become someone that was honest and just- someone not like her.

Casey took after his mother in many ways. He had her catlike reflexes, charming persona, and a knack for getting what he wanted- no matter what. At an early age, his adoptive parents noticed his natural athletic abilities and enrolled him in any sport that the young boy would try. Once he step foot onto the gymnastic mats- he was sold. As Casey grew into a teen his abilities sharpened in the sport and he was unstoppable when it came to the mats.

However, in his everyday life, Casey never saw himself as special or talented. All he ever wanted to do was disappear- then one day he did. With more and more practice, he began to develop a skill more intoxicating than tumbling and tricks- he could become unseen and move through walls. It was everything a young gay teenager could dream of.

The more and more into working on his abilities he became, the less he wanted to do gymnastics. In order to keep his parents off his back for slacking off- he joined the school paper.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Cassidy creates the character of the Scarlett Ghost for a school paper when he is confronted by a group of thugs and has to fight his way out of it. He's untrained, but quick on his feet and gets the job done- but not before he is seen by someone who could be getting the wrong idea of what a blond in a cape..

What are you planning to do with this character?
I want to see him grow into a hero and realize that his true power isn't just from super-human abilities, but from his heart. Eventually I would love for him to meet his mother and find out who his father is.

What do you want to see happen with this character?:
I'd love to see him become part of a team, fall in love, have some fun, get kicked around while doing some kicking of his own. Y'know, the usual things.

Please include a sample post/scene:

There's something about the rain, Casey thought as he stared out the window of the busy classroom, that seemed to get his skin crawling. His mother always compared him to a cat. Casey was light and graceful, passionate about napping, and had the inane distaste for anything wet. The teen yawned and lowered himself even lower in his seat, resting his head on his folded arm as his fingers played in the silky dark honey locks of hair falling down the back of his neck.

As the students around him talked and laughed about the upcoming weekend, the blond slowly blinked, not taking his eyes off of the rain splattering against the window. It's not like he wanted to be anti-social. There was nothing more that Casey wanted in the world than to go up to the people around him and feel free to talk and laugh and smile like he was one of them but the sad truth was- he wasn't. To be said plainly, he wasn't like the other kids. He didn't say the right things, he didn't wear the right clothes, and he didn't have the right parents. At least, he didn't know if he did or not.

As the teen's mind drifted towards the thoughts of who his real parents could be- Casey's theory being aliens, of course - he was interrupted by the school bell. Blinking hard to come back to earth, he sat up in his seat and moved to grab the bag resting at his side. The rest of the teenagers hurried out of the classroom, all of them calling back to each other making promises to call or text or to make sure they show up to the party- but nothing was directed at Casey. He was, of course, invisible.
