It's cutesy! It's shiny! It's moesy! G.U.M.S. (Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight ~ MASSUGU -- GO!) is a CUTE OVERLOAD ちび女子高生 (chibi high school girls) anime. Mikan-chan, with her other equally amusing chibi friends, is a student at Seioh Gakuen. Apparently, she is the Secretary of the Student Council and the only member in the Society. XP She is quite the klutz type and reminds me of Tsukasa-chan from Lucky Star. She even has a perpetual :3 expression 人人人人人人人 ... *gulp*! XD You will probably get that joke if you watch the first episode itself. Then, comes a Manabian *insert Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind theme music* and she falls literally on our resident blue-haired klutz. Thus, a wonderful friendship is formed! Ah~ if only it was that easy in RL. ^___^; Amamiya Manami a.k.a. Manabi-chan a.k.a. Manabian a.k.a. Manabi Alien is the new transfer student. She has enough SUPAA CHOGENKI energy to power the whole of Tokyo, maybe? XD And she has a far-fetched or what the Chinese calls kwa cheong way of presenting her ideas to fellow Student Council members.

In a nutshell from what I can gather in the first four episodes, it's all about self-empowerment, BFF-ness and having a good time in high school.

Though, some may call it a lolimoe aimed at ecchijiji ... Well, that's just the people who will call two oranges and a banana sitting on a table-top a vulgar display.

Visual: Vibrant colours, ultra-cutesy expression, whacked-out special FX. I give it a 8/10
Seiyuu: Japanese female seiyuu and making cute noises? You can't go wrong with the professionals! XD 9/10
Plot: Kinda predictable so far? 6/10
OP & ED: Surprisingly a letdown. Not genki enough for this anime. 4/10
