As the oldest of seven children, Bill has always been pretty good at managing chaos. His parents were great, but they always had their hands full and when he was old enough, Bill took it upon himself to help them out with his younger siblings, especially the trouble-making twins. He's on good terms with all his brothers and his sister, but Charlie has always been the one he's closest to and his best friend.
Bill was always a cheerful, easy-going kid. Schooling came naturally to him, although he didn't obsess over it as much as Percy did. He didn't resent his little brother getting to go to a fancy boarding school while he and the rest of his siblings remained home-schooled, but when he finished his schooling he worked his way through university to better himself, and although he started out thinking he was interested in archeology, somehow found himself taking up an interest in hospital administration instead. It was important work, and it meant meeting a lot of pretty nurses, which Bill was totally okay with. He developed a bit of a reputation as a playboy, but really was just looking for the perfect girl to settle down with.
Bill started out interning in a small clinic in Sussex while doing his Masters degree, and worked his way up. The challenges presented by the everyday management of the staff and patients in a mental health fascility were especially interesting to him, and eventually Bill ended up the Administrator of Sacred Springs, after he graduated and had a few more years of experience on the job. He even managed to get Charlie a job on staff.
