sarcastic as hell and player by nature -- think john tucker -- dev always plans to get by in life on his looks, and if not that he'll use his second resort of charm. he's a complete pain in the ass, has the same sense of humor as a five year old and spends more time out on his skateboard than he does breathing. of course, like most guys who claim to be hardasses, dev's got a soft inside. though few actually end up breaking through to that layer, he has sweetheart tendancies and would give any passer by the shirt off his back if it was called for.
born on october 31st, 1991, devin james brennon was born to sherri and mark brennon and they knew about 5 minutes into his then short life that he'd be a complete menace. he was a complete devil as a child, always the one at the birthday parties who'd punch the clown in the leg or tip over the fancy bowl of punch on the sweet, innocent little girl bystander. of course, no one could exactly blame devin for his behaviors. his dad was the only one around for the longest time, and he found everything devin did quite comical. dev's mom left him before he even reached five, so his memories of her are few and far between. his mission once he turns eighteen is to find her, but that's not always easy. he's tried a couple searches and they all fell through. he's gotten a letter from her every other birthday, a couple days early or a couple days late but never right on time. he's a bit bitter towards her, but always compares her to his new stepmom who he just doesn't have much liking for, considering he gained her and a handful of step siblings he couldn't really care much about. thankful for him, his dad's business trips tend to take him away a lot, and most of the time he'll sweep up the monsters with him which leaves dev with a house to himself for the weekend, or week, or two... if he's lucky.
besides his family life, devin spends most of his time out skating or doing any kind of sports possible. he's the boys varsity football quarterback, along with the boys varsity basketball captain. his career goals veer more towards the espn business, so his extreme involvements in anything even close to that are many. he's a co-morning announcer on the school's tv station, as well as co-radio dj in the afternoon for the school radio station. how he finds time for all of it and school, well.. school has always been lowest priority, dev can never sit in school and doing homework is completely out of the question. don't put it past him to exchange dates for homework, or to help a guy out here and there with a girl he's had his eye on in exchange for the same thing. ![[info]](https://www.scribbld.com/img/userinfo.gif) kyla is devin's love life at the moment, well the official part anyway. they dated freshman year and due to rumors he cheated on her, or actual evidence whichever you prefer, they broke it off until pretty recently. she's the captain of the cheer squad and he's the quarterback; people like them are destined to find eachother. sadly, it doesn't stop his flirtacious nature from going wild at parties or functions.. at school even. she seems to be one of the only people that'll actually take his shit, and being eachother's first everything, she's always been that safe zone that he can't help but fall back into everytime. when college rolls around they'll be put to the test, but for now dev's enjoying his life to the fullest. he's always seen at parties and it's not a surprise if there's one at devin's place any given night of the week. he's friends with everyone, but it's one of those love him or hate him stories.
