Jack Abramoff did time and is dedicating himself now to trying to end the culture of lobbying that makes the sort of corruption that he practiced possible, Forgiveness and second chances are earned, not given. It is a cruel and unforgiving world where repentance is not possible, but it is an equally cruel world where forgiveness is too easily granted."
