Sometimes when I think that there is no kindness left in the world, or that people just don't give a damn about anybody but themselves, somebody finds a way to show me that I could possibly be wrong.
A frequent renter of mine just brought me flowers as a thank you gift for all I've done for her (highly discounted rates, taking off the limited miles, free additional drivers, last-minute hard to get ahold of cars, et cetera).
What a wonderful lady. I'm going through so much right now, and it almost made me cry.
P.S. My nana is probably going to die within a week or two. I'm heading south on Monday to say my goodbyes and possibly for the funeral (I can't stay forever, though).
