Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: De Email: On File AIM (if you have one): On File Character Name: Prince Ahura Boltagon Character LJ (if applicable): eyesofjudgement Physical description (face, build, weight): Ahura is six feet tall with black hair, blue eyes and regal features. He is of royal blood and he is aware of it, for better or worse. Age: 21 Birthday: August 18th PB: (If using one.) - Jonathan Rhys Meyers Abilities:
Evil Eye: Ahura's gaze renders those he looks upon with his naked eyes insensate with agony. At all times, he wears a pair of sunglasses to keep his ability from going unchecked. This power can also be thwarted by covering his eyes in some manner, or by his closing them. This ability is psionic in nature and is /extremely/ difficult to resist.
Telepathy/Limited Mind-control: Ahura is an intermediate telepath and able to exert control over a being's mind for limited periods, though other telepaths have a better time resisting and even preventing this kind of control. He can (and often does) read surface thoughts, but can attempt to probe deeper if he chooses. These abilities do not work on Black Bolt whatsoever.
Enhanced Lifespan - Ahura's natural lifespan is 150 years.
Enhanced strength, speed and endurance - Ahura is at peak human physical achievement. He can lift up to one ton and can exert himself for nearly an hour before fatigue sets in, but he must work to keep himself in shape.
Combat training and tactics - Ahura has served in the Attilan Military and was trained in hand-to-hand combat by his cousin Karnak. He has a knowledge of pressure points, and can fight two opponents without difficulty.
Weaknesses and flaws: Ahura would tell you that he has none.
Immune System Deficiency- Inhumans are used to living in a germ-free, pollution-free environment; when on Earth, Ahura must take a serum monthly to keep from succumbing to Earth's current level of air and water pollution.
Pride- Ahura is /extremely/ proud of being the Prince of the Inhumans and carries himself as such. He is automatically disdainful of most humans, due to everything he has learned about them in the history books. Yes, there are worthy ones such as the Fantastic Four and even the Avengers, but they are a few out of billions...and even /they/ are still human, which balances out their heroism.
Character location/Home: Earth, after his exile Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero Relatives (living/dead?): Black Bolt (father, living), Medusa (mother, living), Crystal (Aunt, living), Luna Maximoff (cousin, living), Inhuman Royal Family (living)
Backstory: Ahura was born without the consent of the Genetics Council to Medusa and Black Bolt. When Black Bolt sided with the Council, he was taken from his family and sent to Earth to be raised by humans for a time, but was eventually returned to Attilan. When Black Bolt finally stood against the Genetics Council, who were siphoning away his power for their own usage, Ahura was allowed into the general society of the Inhumans and brought up as royalty, as he was the legitimate son of the King and Queen, even if his birth was unsanctioned.
Eventually, Ahura's exposure to the Terrigen Mists granted him psionic abilities which culminated in the development of what many call his "Evil Eye" ability. He inspired fear in many Inhumans, though he voluntarily covers his eyes so as not to use this ability, even by accident. Over time, however, the Prince gained a following for speaking against several of his father's policies, most notably their interactions with humanity. He has also challenged many of the strictures and rulings currently in place by city Crystal's constant refusal to acquiesce to his dictates. Ahura knows that he will be king someday, and when he is, he will have the power to change society for what he sees as the betterment of the Inhumans.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Ahura is exiled to Earth after disrespecting his King and Queen and forced to join the Avengers.
What are you planning to do with this character?: Ahura will take part in helping to keep Earth safe, while (hopefully) learning not to be so judgemental and close-minded about other cultures.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I would like to see Ahura eventually realize that his people are not perfect, and that humanity has more worth than he initially credits them with. Also, I want to see him understand that he has a huge responsibility coming his way, which is to lead, protect and serve his people, and that no one can do so alone. Anything more is also awesome to see.
