Player (nickname, handle)/ LJ: Dylan
Email: on-file
AIM (if you have one): on-file
Character Name: Sophia Lehnsherr (an alias, real name unknown)/Magneta
Character LJ (if applicable): fatalattraction
Physical description (face, build, weight): A tall, silver-haired woman with imperial features
Age: 25
Birthday: September 28
PB: Mosh
Abilities: ability to manipulate magnetic fields for various effects
Weaknesses and flaws: unable to affect non-ferrous materials directly
Character location/Home: mobile
Alignment (villain, hero etc): villain
Relatives (living/dead?): Zaladane (mother, deceased), father (unknown), Lorna Dane (alleged aunt), Andrew Summers (possibly cousin)

Backstory: Little verifiable is known of the women who calls herself Magneta, though she claims to be the daughter of former mutant terrorist Magneto. SHIELD and other peace-keeping organizations, however, believe this to be a false claim, though whether or not she herself is aware of this and simply using it for effect or is operating under false information is unknown. It is most speculated that she is the daughter of Zaladane, conceived during the period when she had stolen Polaris’s magnetic abilities.

That much, is, in fact, accurate. The daughter of Zaladane by a Savage Land native, she was sent outside of the Savage Land to be raised. When Zaladane was killed by Magneto, the girl, named Sophia by the human parents she had been placed in the care of, was forgotten about. She lived an ordinary life, until her mutant powers manifested when she was sixteen, inadvertently killing her boyfriend with whom she was making out by causing a massive disruption of the iron in his blood. Blamed by the small town, she ran away from home, learning to use her powers to survive.

With a family history of mental illness, it didn't take much for her to believe that she had to truthfully be the daughter of Magneto, hidden away lest his enemies find her. With this fabrication in mind, she developed a new identity for herself, dedicating herself to the principals of mutant advancement and conquest, ferreting out what resources she could.

What is known is that she first appeared three years ago, conducting various acts of small-scale mutant terrorism. She was able to evade capture and remains one of the more wanted mutant criminals in the world. It is generally assumed Magneto finds her to be beneath his notice.

In-between this time, she was approached by unknown backers and began to build her X-Tremists.

In the time since her first appearance, she has continued to consolidate her power-base and has amassed a team of followers, along with picking up pieces of cast-off technology, including a teleportation system.

During the X-Tremists' most recent public action, she and they were involved in an attack on Providence and attempted to steal a mutagneic factor, becoming exposed to it themselves. While the effects proved largely temporary on those exposed to it, it was enough for them to gain some of the information they needed.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: she was already introduced during the Providence plot for X-Force.

What are you planning to do with this character?: Acts of mutant terrorism (the X-Tremists return in a future X-Force plot and will likely be recurring antagonists for them)

What do you want to see happen with this character?: An eventual encounter with the Genoshan contingent seems likely. :-) She /is/ a blashphemer, after all.

Sample post:
