Original Characters
- We're totally into OC's but we're holding off on them until we've got some more canon places filled. They will be on offer eventually!
- OC's with canon surnames are our favourites. Bonses and Crabbes and Creeveyses...

Game Play
- We play in third person within the community and also like to see first person journal entries!
- All the student’s journals are connected magically so comments can be read and replied to, like an online journal but in paper form!
- Players can also send owls to each other in the main community.

Activity
- We don’t have an activity requirement but ask that you bear in mind how popular your character will be when applying. If you’re going after a Marauder for example you’re going to be involved in a lot of plots and should probably have plenty of free time. If we feel you’re neglecting your character we’ll talk to you about it.
- Journal posts, threads and owls all count as activity to us!

Players
- We like to get to know other players and love a social, fun atmosphere and as such we have a group chat open in AIM every day. Don’t be shy, just come in and say hello, we talk about everything and not just the game.
- We also really like using Polyvore. Like, really.

Threads
- Threads should be tagged with the character's names appearing in them and also tagged as complete or incomplete. Owls should be tagged as so.
- If your starting post is getting lengthy it would be nice of you to put the majority under an LJ-cut!
