biography:
on november 3rd, 1990, gage nicholas kline was born to christina and nicholas kline at huntington beach hospital in california at 5:48pm. of course, he was the first born to the couple who wed only a year and a half before he was born, but he was always one of those babies that people loved to be around. his parents knew there was something different about him since he was always happy, never crying whenever he was "passed" from person to person at family events/gatherings. ever since he was a baby, gage has always been a friendly person with nothing wrong with him. when he was just three years old, he and his parents not only moved to salt lake city, utah, for his father to have an advancement in his career as the head biology professor at the university of utah at salt lake city, but they also welcomed their next child, samantha, into the world. she wasn't nearly as easy as gage had been, but she wasn't the worst. throughout the past 17 years of his life, gage has helped welcome not only samantha, but four other younger siblings! with his youngest brother being a year old, gage is often found babysitting his younger siblings if his younger sister won't since he's pretty much a push over when it comes to his family, especially his baby siblings (he'd do pretty much for any of them, which is what he's been like since the very first time someone decided to pick on samantha). a few years ago (when gage was just 15 to be exact), his dad was promoted to being the dean of students at the university of utah at salt lake city, which is also the college that gage plans to attend as soon as he graduates from high school. one big thing about him is that he plans on keeping himself close to home so that he can continue to live with his family, have a job nearby and just be able to continuously spend time with his siblings whenever he wants to. he's always been very big on family - since having four younger siblings definitely pushed him into that direction, and he would seriously, without thinking, do anything to protect them and keep them safe. it's his biggest mindset, which has never seemed to fail him before.

ever since gage was a little boy, he's always expressed interested in three things: science (which was always a strong emphasis of his father and is something that his mom always tells him he's amazingly good at), cooking and sports; however, he'd never been too into a lot of different sports. sure, he'd throw a football or baseball around with his dad when he had the time or with one of his younger brothers/friends, but it had never been something he'd actually play. little league baseball was fun, as was little league football, but the rules were too different to be considered anything special as he grew older. to this day, he really only considers himself to have a love for lacrosse, which is the one sport that he plays in high school and has played since junior high, even though his mom always tried to get him to go out for something different since the sport was just "too rough" on her son. pft! to gage, he could take anything. one thing is and was for sure, he's never considered himself to be a jock; that's just too much of a stereotype. in his mind, a jock is someone who barely gets by in his classes, never wants to do anything but that certain sport or just talk about sports all the time. definitely not gage kline. his favorite subject is biology and chemistry and he usually does well in all his courses, sometimes failing to make a grade an "a" and having to stick with a "b." not the end of the world, but not his best. science has always been his strong point. science and mathematics, anyway. he's never been wonderful at other subjects, but those two? he could pass with his hands tied behind his back and his book glued shut! just a natural, really. one of his biggest interests aside from those has always been cooking. his nana taught him how to start cooking when he was just five years old and ever since then, he's always had a knack for it. if it weren't for his love of science, this boy would definitely be going to a culinary arts school in new hampshire and becoming a chef. but, instead, he really just plans on being like his dad through and through.

in school, he's just a normal guy. he doesn't flaunt himself or the fact that he sometimes makes top notch grades; he definitely doesn't make people wish they were like him, unlike some of his fellow classmates. he's not a cocky bastard, but really just a romantic at heart which definitely has paid off the past few years. he's a nice guy that comes off as one of those "nice guys finish last" sans the fact that he's never really finished last in that department; however, he is a normal guy that, if he's having a bad day or has been put in a bad mood, he'll be mean and rude, but who isn't like that when they are in some sort of off mood? also, it's never been his "thing" to flirt constantly or to make girls want him in any way at all. besides, he's always had a girlfriend and never really did the whole "short term" dating that kids these days seem to do. ever since ninth grade, he's been with meredith avedon, and he's always been truly happy with her. in the entire time they've been a couple, he's not once wanted to break up with her and he'd never, in a million years, even think about hurting her much less hurt her! sure, they're not this completely and utterly perfect couple that never fights or anything at all. not once has he ever thought about cheating on her or even lying to her to make things better. it's just not his thing! he's always been romantic and her being his first real girlfriend? that just put things into a bigger perspective to him and made him want to treat her even more like a princess than he already had planned! they've been happy, though, which is something that not everyone expects from younger couples. to him, she is his heart and he'd do anything for her, pretty much. she's been his first everything and, to him, that makes her so much more to him than anything else in the world.
